Least fave: Tension Padam, Padam for the WIN Looks like its gonna be a close one. Once this is done the next album survivor poll will most likely be 'Tension II', I'll start that after X-Mas, maybe in the new year

Welcome Kylie fans to the GRAND FINALE of the 'Tension' survivor polls & months of voting we are finally down to our final 2, which means that finishing in 3rd place with a whopping 19 votes is Hold On To Now, released in October 2023 as the album's 3rd and final single. This was one of the first songs written for the album and was originally slated to be released as the lead single, before 'PP' came along. The song was created from a voice note Kylie sent to Biff Stannard in 2021 and Kylie herself has stated that this song is her favourite from the album. A superb single choice that deserved so much more than it got (we should have a music video at the very least). A cracking electro/pop anthem that stands as one of her very best compositions in recent years with its euphoric synths, angelic vocals and fantastic beats that ramps up during the second half of the song. Welcome to the Semi-Finals of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension' Survivor polls & we say goodbye to the last non-single album track Things We Do For Love which gained a hefty 9 votes out of 16. Which means that everything left are singles. Kylie co-wrote the song with Anya Jones, Camille "Kamille" Purrell, Jon Green, and producers Duck Blackwell and Richard "Biff" Stannard. The song was recorded on the same day as 'Tension (song)' and was praised by music critics & fans upon the album's release. Despite not being released as a single it managed to chart on the UK single sales & downloads charts at #69 & #67 respectively. A stunning synth-pop driven track that builds and builds throughout and leads to a joyful euphoric chorus. Pure pop bliss and if there was gonna be a 4th single from this album, then this would have been the perfect choice. Another excellent episode last night & the best makeover episode ever. Glad Marmalade has finally got a win, after 4 high placements it just felt right. Loved the sit down chat between RuPaul and the queens it was very moving. The correct bottom 2 and it was Charra Tea's time to go. The roast next week will be interesting the front runners Kyran and La Voix could do well and snatch another win either way, but hoping Lill might get it & make it to the final 4. I predict a bottom 2 of Rileasa and Marmalade for the next episode, but who knows.

Welcome to Round 11 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension' survivor polls. After a very tight race we finally say goodbye to Vegas High which gained 10 out of the 24 votes. This had to be the closest battle ever between this & 'Things We Do For Love' which was just 1 vote behind with 9 and it looked like the latter was in danger of going as it got all of its votes overnight, but 'VH' edged out in front at the last minute and therefore finishes in a respectable 5th place and yes I do agree with this result as it was the right time for the song to bow out. 'Vegas High' came to fruition once her Las Vegas residency was confirmed and it also made its debut on there. The song itself is a solid retro pop/synth number that hits its peak once the chorus drops. We are now at the quarter finals stage of the 'Tension' survivor polls & there's just 4 songs left in the running. I agree with u on 'TWDFL' where did those votes come from, coz in the previous rounds it never scored more than 2 votes & in the ranking round it came 3rd, now all of a sudden its up to 9. 'VH' is now up to 8, so it looks like it's gonna be a very close race. But if 'VH' survives I'll be very shocked.

The song was co-written by Kylie during a difficult time period and was the final track on the standard edition of the album. A solid little down-tempo album track, but wouldn't call it amazing or anything & don't think it should have lasted this long. Welcome to Round 9 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension' survivor polls and the latest to drop is You Still Get Me High which gained 8 votes after what started out as a pretty close battle between this & 'Story' which got 5 votes. 'YSGMH' was co-written by Kylie & started out as a slower, more indulgent song until Duck Blackwell joined and changed the structure of the song. This is yet another strong album track with that 80's retro vibe to it that starts off down-tempo before the beat blasts and stop/starts in freestyle. Only 6 songs left now & we're almost down to that all important top 5.
