But if this season was judged better then this could have been a more enjoyable season. Welcome to Round 7 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension' survivor polls & after a pretty close battle the 2 songs that have been eliminated are One More Time & Just Imagine both gained 11 votes. First up 'Just Imagine' which featured on the deluxe edition of the album and was rumoured to have been offered to Kylie back in 2006 for inclusion on her 10th studio album X. Nice vocals and solid production, but for me the song doesn't really go anywhere interesting. Next up 'One More Time' which comes as a bit of a surprise considering it's never gained more than 2 votes in the previous rounds. Written very early during the album sessions and began as a demo titled 'You Got It' before being reworked. Actually quite like this one it was a nice balearic feel to it and love the slinky production and the chorus is quite catchy. Right 8 songs out and 8 left in the running and we're gonna do something different for this round. Instead of the usual voting polls, I've decided to do a ranking round, the rules are simple just rank the 8 remaining songs from the list below from best to worst, with 8 points going to the top track & 1 will go to the lowest & the one with the least amount of points will be out by the next round. Welcome to Round 6 of Kylie Minogue's 'Tension' survivor polls & finishing in 11th place by quite a landslide is Drum with 10 votes. The second and last of the 'Bonus (Deluxe Edition)' tracks & again like 'Heavenly Body' it simply suffered because not many people know it. A demo version leaked online in June 2023 & wasn't included on the final tracklisting. On November 23rd 2023 it was made available for a brief period of time on streaming services before it was taken down. 10 Songs left & there's gonna be a Double Elimination for this round, just pick 2 of your least fave 'Tension' tracks & the 2 with the most votes will be out by the next round. This a stunning track that was only available on the 'Bonus (Deluxe Edition)' of the album & therefore not that many people are familiar with it which is probably why it's out so soon. Welcome to Round 4 of Kylie's 'Tension' Survivor polls & we finally say goodbye to 10 Out of 10, which has been hanging on by a thread for the last couple of rounds, but now it's finally out with 8 votes, with 'Heavenly Body' not far behind with 7 votes which makes this yet another close battle. '10 Out of 10' was a collaboration between Kylie and Dutch DJ Oliver Heldens & was released as a buzz single in April 2023. Honestly expected this to be out in the first round due to it's negative fan reception upon release, but it seems opinions have somewhat warmed towards it.
