  1. Sheffield United really are a waste of space. I wish teams like them would just stay down to be honest, there's no feeling of excitement and anticipation when they get promoted because you know they won't add anything to the league once they're here. Here's hoping that 2024 will mark the last appearance of them in the Premier League for many years to come.

Great episode of Smackdown last night with numerous call ups/resignings to the main roster including Tiffany Stratton and Naomi. Bayley Vs Iyo Sky is confirmed for Wrestlemania now after Damage Ctrl turned their backs on Bayley and it looks like The Rock Vs Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania could very possibly happen after Rock appeared to stare down Reigns which followed a really good promo between Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns. Logan Paul's promo at the start of the episode was also nice. I also thought that the Women's Royal Rumble match was better than the Men's and Jade Cargill looked awesome as well as Jordynne Grace & Naomi. After these latest developments and CM Punk's injury who knows what Cody Rhodes will do now at Wrestlemania?

  5. Crazy finish to the Wolves match. I thought we'd thrown it away when they scored in the 95th minute but Kobbie Mainoo saved us with the 97th minute winner!

Oliver will probably go down as the least memorable contestant of all time! He did absolutely nothing and he was the first person out. Very embarrassing for the doctor to clap when he did, don't think he'll last long in this. Both teams were poor to be honest.

  10. Fantastic news! Hopefully Pep Guardiola fucks off soon as well. Then maybe just maybe we might get the good old Premier League back instead of the formulaic bullshit we've had to endure for the past 5 years or so.

^ That will definitely benefit WWE in the long run as there's bound to be more viewers due to lots of people already having Netflix accounts rather than subscribing to another network that would mean paying extra. Royal Rumble is this weekend! On paper it looks like it's a battle between Cody Rhodes & CM Punk to win the Men's match. Punk has said that no one will stop him from winning the rumble and he will eliminate Drew Mcintyre last to be victorious. I personally think Cody will win it instead which will pave the way for him to transfer to Smackdown and challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal title in a rematch of last year. I think Becky Lynch will win the Women's rumble match and face Rhea Ripley at Wrestlemania. Bayley is another strong contender for the Women's rumble.

  16. Him and Harry Kane will finally win some silverware at least! I have a feeling that Bayern will win the Champions League this season as well.

  19. For the quality of music 2014. 2013 is also another strong year for this decade in terms of the quality of music. The charts were fun to follow for the first half of the decade but then they nosedived in the 2nd and haven't been as good since imo.

Just out of curiosity when you are listening to music and contributing towards the Last.fm stats do you people have a "whatever happens happens", "go with the mood/flow" attitude or do you at least sometimes tactically listen to songs a certain amount of times with the weekly/monthly/yearly Last.fm stats in mind? Like for example if there's a song that you're listening to and it's growing on you and you end up listening to it on repeat a few times but then try to hold yourself back from continuing to listen to it on repeat knowing it's racking up scrobbles in your charts?

This might be a weird and unpopular opinion but I find Manchester City's matches are generally boring to watch. The only time they're exciting is if their opponents take the game to them. I watched part of the match against Huddersfield but as soon as City went 1-0 up I knew what was coming next, then just as I thought the 2nd goal came quickly after that and now they're currently winning 5-0. I turned the game off at half time when the score was 2-0. There's no real sense of jeopardy watching them the vast majority of the time and how they still continue to get these favourable cup draws is beyond me. Hopefully Arsenal Vs Liverpool later today will be much more entertaining watching as a neutral.

20 years this year since the legendary banger that is "Lean Back" by Terror Squad ft Fat Joe & Remy Ma. Still sounds as good now as it did back in '04!

Same! 2014 being 10 years ago is another thing that will take some time getting used to :(
