  2. Chris Sutton's comments about the Liverpool Vs Man Utd match in his Premier League predictions on the BBC football website are the exact type of comments that would give me maximum motivation to prove him wrong if I was a professional player. If I was the manager I would frame his article and stick it on the wall in the dressing room for everyone to see. The man's got a hate boner for Man United anyway but even by his standards it's quite outrageous. There's not many bigger satisfactions in football than to shut people up like him who chat shit the way that they do, he'd probably have a coronary if the match goes opposite to how he thinks it will go.
  3. Yep just as I thought, to be further compounded with defeat on Sunday against Liverpool. We didn't deserve to go through to the knockout stage anyway, it's probably the worst Champions League group stage I can remember from us. At least we've avoided the Europa League this time.

  11. Sheffield United are lucky that Everton have their points deduction otherwise they would be 8 points adrift of safety now with a much worse goal difference than Nottingham Forest.
  12. We're only 3 points behind Manchester City as well!
  13. Pep Guardiola has guaranteed that Manchester City will win the Premier League this season! I can't think of anytime when a manager has openly said something like this, we'll see if his words come true. Looks like the pressure is getting to him tbh. It also sounds like he's beginning to live off what they did last season which is a characteristic that Sir Alex Ferguson didn't have after doing the same thing in 1999. _ogsjKruFPA

  16. They should be happy that the Premier League haven't already relegated them to the Vanarama National League after all the Financial Fair Play breaches they've broken!
  17. Angry Man City players at full time. You love to see it!
  18. A deserved defeat for us tonight, Newcastle were dominate for almost the whole game and showed a lot more intensity than us. We can consider ourselves "lucky" if that's the right word that it was only 1-0.

Group B looks like the group of death! Expect Albania to get smoked and exit with 0 points. That's a fairly easy looking group for England, but there problem as always will be how they navigate the knockout stage. I've seen quite a few people saying it's finally going to happen with this tournament but I think they'll fall short again. The most recent major tournaments have had the team in the best form in World or European football going into the tournament coming out of it with the trophy so closer to next summer will be when it will be clearer who is likely to win Euro 2024 I think.
