  2. Garnacho with one of the best goals ever scored in the history of the Premier League in a 3-0 win against Everton. No team has won more matches in the league since the start of October and that's 5 wins from the last 6 matches. Like I said all it takes is a winning run of matches then the narrative will change which is what is happening now hearing the media, hope we can keep this up. Only time will tell if we'll be back at Goodison Park again next season for another Premier League match. We're not far away now from any of the sides above us in the league table.

CM Punk is back in WWE! His return at the end of Survivor Series was flawlessly executed, I was completely taken off guard by it. I didn't think he would ever go back to WWE after everything that has happened in the past 9 years and with Triple H in control now. As for Survivor Series I thought it was a good show overall with the women's wargames match being my favourite. It was also good to see Randy Orton back and looking healthy after his long injury layoff. Apparently doctors told him to not wrestle ever again so for him to come back in a match like wargames is quite the achievement.
  4. Sorry to say but I can't count this prediction because it was made so late after kick off.

Will Ospreay is a big signing for AEW especially with All In 2 taking part in England again next year. Swerve Vs Hangman Adam Page at Full Gear was crazy! Easily the best match on the PPV.

  10. Everton's points deduction sets up a couple of interesting season long storylines. The first is whether Everton with their recent track record can get enough points to stay up, the second is how damming an indictment of the standard of last season's Championship it could be if all three newly promoted teams still get relegated anyway. Especially as these were the top 3 ranked teams in that league and Burnley won it with such ease. Unless Everton have massively turned a corner this season you would expect them to finish on less than 30 points now which 99% of the time would be guaranteed relegation.
  11. All 3 promoted teams are currently in the relegation places. Not since 1997/98 have all of the newly promoted teams gone straight back down and it could be the only time it's happened in the Premier League era. I wonder if this could be the season for that to happen? you could make a strong case for all of them to get relegated this season. I read a stat that no team that has lost 10 out of their first 12 matches avoided relegation so for Burnley in particular it doesn't bode well.

  14. I think it's understandable as Tottenham had the best form from August through to October. He definitely won't win it for November though and with Maddison being injured for the next few months Ange probably won't win it again this season.

I would have said Liverpool should be shoe-ins to win this competition but after tonight I'm not so sure!

  17. Of course there's light at the end of the tunnel, there's always light at the of the tunnel in football unless if you're going out of business. This is just our time to have struggles but it won't be like this for the rest of eternity. All it takes is a winning run of matches then the narrative will change, football has always been like that. Just hope that we bounce back against Luton in the Premier League on Saturday.

  21. Yeah they were robbed but I don't feel sorry for them. During his post match rant Arteta at one point said "they lost 3 points" & "the league is too hard". Hearing him say something like that is confirmation that they wont win the league again this season. A lot of people said that they would win it after they beat Man City but if their manager thinks that the Premier League is too hard then they're not gonna have a chance of winning it. I don't think Arsene Wenger during his three title winning seasons ever would have said something like that or any of the other managers who have won it. After 10 matches played they finally lose for the first time and Arteta is acting as if it's the end of the world.

I thought Crown Jewell was a decent event, not one of the best they've done in 2023 but still decent. Seth Vs Drew was match of the night for me with the fatal five way coming second. It's no surprise at all that Logan Paul won the United States championship and I also think that was the right decision as he can get some good heel heat as champion. Damien Priest was made to look so weak in his match against Cody Rhodes and that kind of undermines the possibility of him being World Heavyweight champion if/when he cashes in the Money In The Bank briefcase successfully. As for Roman Reigns I don't think there was a single person watching the show that thought he would lose the title to L.A Knight. I'm glad that WarGames has been confirmed to be returning at Survivor Series later this month.
