Like I said before it's mainly about them winning this competition rather than the treble as a whole. Tbh if I was a Liverpool fan I wouldn't be pleased to see our bitter rivals of the last few years winning it either but I guess that's a representation of how far Liverpool's standards have dropped this season, the hotel that Jurgen Klopp promised to book in Istanbul is now going to be booked by the team that have caused them a lot of heartache in recent seasons.

Nah, our treble achievement will never be a small footnote even if 1,000 teams do it we will always be the first English team to have done it. It's not even mainly about that anyway, it's just Man City themselves winning the European Cup.

Incoming inevitable "Is this the start of European dominance?" headlines We laughed year after year but really it was bound to happen at some point with the unlimited chances City get every season. On the positive side of things this might somehow mark the beginning of their eventual downfall because they are bound to lose some motivation along the way, they're not likely to have the Sir Alex Ferguson inspired lack of contentment that meant nothing was good enough.

It hasn't happened yet but if Leicester were to get relegated I think that would arguably be the most shocking relegation of all time. This is a team that narrowly missed out on Champions League qualification 2 and 3 years ago, especially in the 2019/20 season when they were in the top 4 all season until the last week or so. Also they won the FA Cup in 2021 and when you look at their squad it's largely the same players that were there then that are still there now.

Has any song ever won Eurovision by being performed first in the final?

Relegation it is! Depending on how their squad will be they could come immediately back but if there will be a mass exodus then it could be a few years at least until we see them back in the Premier League.

Everything has gone against Leicester after today's results and with Forest currently winning against Southampton. Could this be the end for Leicester? for what they've achieved in the past 7-8 years it would be truly extraordinary. Southampton themselves could be mathematically relegated this coming weekend if they end up losing to Forest.

Maybe so on their squad and finances, but they had 6th place in their hands going into the last match of the season and had a 3-1 lead in the game against Blackburn and they threw it away. They bottled it! It's probably for best given the troublesome reputation of a lot of their fans.

Even if Pep outlasts Ten Haag it wont matter, it's the club itself rather than the manager or any individual player that is more important. Man City will not be winning like how they are now forever, there will be a period where the balance will shift just like how it's shifted for various times over the past decades for teams that had a lot of success. Compared to last season and a few seasons before that Man Utd are improving and it's about continuing that into the future, we've already done better this season than a lot of people myself included thought we would and I don't think many people expect anything crazy to happen next season.

Maybe not in the immediate future but further down the line who knows? there will eventually be a period when Manchester City will not be on top anymore as nothing can last forever and when it comes to Pep himself can you see him still being their manager for another 10-15 years? Besides on the evidence of this season where's the guarantee that Jurgen Klopp will challenge him going forward? Liverpool have gone from nearly winning everything to winning absolutely nothing.

We're really trying to make this top 4 battle more complicated than it needs to be! At least our women are not doing the same in the WSL.

Bournemouth look like they will be safe now so at this moment in time I would swap them for Leeds and still keep Nottingham Forest and Southampton in the bottom 3. I kind of hope Everton get relegated but I can imagine them being out of it by the end similar to last season.
