It does send the unfortunate message that the biggest concern of the Green Party of Britain is something foreign rather than something British which then kinda undermines the rest of their policy positions.

Pleasantly surprised nobody ended up subbing my other 2 potentials, one more for Nov/Dec then!

I think Paris is getting a very kind edit compared to how messy she has been online.

Sidenote, I don't understand why a one state policy necessarily would result in ethnic cleansing. If Scotland became independent I don't think any non Scots living there would be genocided (?)

Baffling to see them dying on this hill. Is it ideological capture or is the young base they are targeting truly internationalist? I think the biggest sticking point I have with Greens and really anyone British putting Israel-Palestine as their most important and impactful policy is that it feels very privileged to me; to not have any problems at home you want to focus on, instead allowing all your political capital to go on trying to solve a foreign conflict. I fundamentally do not think British politicians should ever have something like that as a number 1 focus.

Great review Nina. I think the track listing isn't quite the optimal order. I would probably put Spiritual Love higher up & move Love Train & Colour of Blue toward the end.

Kind of wild Taylor has had 8 toppers since 2017 only and they don't include a lot of her biggest hits and signature songs even in that period!

Changed mine aussi

Sounds like the setup for an outfit joke...

Didn't love what felt like some microaggressions from KY Kelly this episode.

I would like to see your nation spectrum

Performance was pretty good. Wonder if she has an injury, there was a lot of supporting her walking choreographed in.

Placeholder from me here

It's so weird to see these things that are patchwork of stolen elements be allowed to chart.

I like it although the title feels a little gauche

I really don't see what's compelling about this song

Too late its forever neil

This is really sweet! Quite All Saints I think. Feels like a fresh reboot from the Shook era though

Tbh the link I used was just the first one I found after originally seeing it on reddit & losing where. I also have a fever today so maybe this thread should just be deleted as it's not really the case I saw that specific article & agreed with it or anything.

I thought the point of this subforum was to post various news stories rather than the whole thing being taken up with politics. It's possible I misunderstood.

Was curious what everyone's thoughts on this might be? https://www.newsweek.com/lesbian-bar-mask-mandate-last-ditch-massachusetts-backlash-12480852 I've seen it doing the rounds on various sites and it sparks some interesting topics I think.

It's a shame, but support is strong. Poll released today has LD taking roughly 60 seats at a next election, so still a solid percentage.

This is how I learn nelionoir is pronouned nelly-o and not like the name Neil 🫠

Personally I find the idea of being an artist with no opinions on anything something of an anathema, it doesn't make sense or it shows very little self-awareness. The statement didn't sound like it came truly from the heart of the same person who wrote songs like The A Team. I think it's just a shame to happen because his image that he sells himself on is very much that he does do things his own way so the sudden PR angle is very like when you see the 'man behind the curtain', that things weren't what they previously seemed.

Surprised to see Frost Children so low tbh!
