I meant, as opposed to having 10 threads, one for each franchise, having a total of 2 - not 20. Just as an alternate option that we could consider trialling at some point.

re Calum's point - they were described as wins in the pre season spoilers so that was what I expected. Whether you call them wins or top 2s I meant the placement where you are called as the best of the episode.

Its kind of amusing in isolation that her first track is 'Don't Say Love' and then she herself keeps titling her next songs something Love

I thought she would have a major glowup and slay a lot of different challenges! I didn't expect literally 3 out of 4 to be basically storyline wins or default wins :o Seriously for me she was safe-safe-safe most of the season, some decent challenge performances, most ok only, runways pretty average, lipsyncs generally poor. She just didn't seem to have the spark she had in season 1 in my opinion for most of the season. And its weird to me because on social media etc. she IS funny and she DOES have the looks etc.

I prefer not having a merged spoilers thread because there's only certain seasons I care for spoilers for. I suppose we could trial a 'casting spoilers' thread and a 'placements spoilers' thread.

Finally I can reveal that I knew the spoilers for this season. Yeah, this was the worst for me. LGD slayed Tia stone dead in the first one. I haven't seen Tia have a single even passable lipsync this season to my taste so this was really a pretty bullshit ending for me.

Thanks for the feedback Pav. I'll try and think of another way to avoid this. People that use those threads have been strongly against using the spoiler tag for a while too which is the tricky part.

They have a point though, its kind of a joke to see her nominated for & winning awards off the back of very little actual success as a solo. Wish her well ofc although I don't get the whole energy of "I'm a new artist" when your entire adult life has been working in this industry

I don't mean to be rude but it's kind of wild that after 10 years in the industry multiple of the girls would have such little business sense. I wish her luck but strategy wise this career path has been a bit all over the place for Leigh.

I feel like I probably DQ this time as there's been zero reaction, plus I missed the listenthrough so I have no clue

They also did this with Lolita on DRF iirc (to say nothing of queens like Kandy Ho from the og seasons)

From now on we will be trialling removing the spoiler tags (black bars) within SPOILER-marked threads, because of a difficulty reading them on iPhone with the tags enabled. Can anybody who is watching week to week thus please try and avoid these threads. As the mod team we will avoid pinning these threads in the pinned section. Please feedback any thoughts pro or anti in this thread, any feedback is welcomed & reverting the change is something we will also consider if there's demand for it. Cheers - J00p & Calum

If I knew I was going to be cast with Americans on their third or fourth round I would probably say no too. Especially given that we know AS trends towards comedy challenges which naturally advantage the queens competing in their first language and so far don't seem to have any flexibility whatsoever for queens whose English isn't quite as fluent. Snatch Game on UK vs the World with only a couple native English speakers out of 8 for example was a total shitshow, all the ESL queens were essentially locked out of any potential for doing well from the jump.

OKay. I wasn't actually aware of that. We'll trial taking spoiler tags off for now then within the spoiler threads.
