Yes agree, it feels like Sapphira's to lose. As for Plane, she's had a good run but its wack that she has a similar track record to S9 Shea and Sasha Colby.

I think I prefer the sound of this one to My Love which was a bit repetitive. Really her career has not been handled well though. I feel like Jesy and Leigh both made the mistake of being overconfident or having too high expectations instead of working to establish themselves first.

It kinda begs the question why all of the girls shouted from the rooftops about their albums in the first place, when no such thing was guaranteed. Jade has played it well by not promising anything so far. It then makes them look a fool if what they promised and promoted never ends up materialising. I really didn't expect Leigh to repeat some of the mistakes Jesy made with her solo career if I'm honest.

People are actually using the defence "well, she isn't transphobic because she said she isn't in her 2020 essay" as if someone's claim for whether or not they believe themself to be prejudiced should hold more weight than THEIR ACTIONS EVERY DAY WHICH COME FROM A PLACE OF PREJUDICE...

Ugh I was hoping they'd replace Barney. Bradley is good but Barney is just there off nepo and is really cringe. They could do with a woman cohost, Ulrika was so good back in the day. Season was great though! Although bullshit that all they win is a trophy, they used to get money & a car & people could really do with support these days!

Once again I bloody wish the reporting on the story would be honest! All of the articles are framing it as a hypothetical, "if JK said XYZ would it be a crime" etc. - ignoring the fact that what she actually did was made a ton of transphobic statements, literally called named trans women men including basically doxxing people who weren't public figures and putting them in the same box as criminals, and only THEN cheerily said "arrest me if you don't like it". Frankly she's a horrible piece of work. Who does that? She's just bullying at this stage, this had gone beyond quietly believing certain things.

re Calum's point - they were described as wins in the pre season spoilers so that was what I expected. Whether you call them wins or top 2s I meant the placement where you are called as the best of the episode.

I thought she would have a major glowup and slay a lot of different challenges! I didn't expect literally 3 out of 4 to be basically storyline wins or default wins :o Seriously for me she was safe-safe-safe most of the season, some decent challenge performances, most ok only, runways pretty average, lipsyncs generally poor. She just didn't seem to have the spark she had in season 1 in my opinion for most of the season. And its weird to me because on social media etc. she IS funny and she DOES have the looks etc.

I prefer not having a merged spoilers thread because there's only certain seasons I care for spoilers for. I suppose we could trial a 'casting spoilers' thread and a 'placements spoilers' thread.
