Two non elims back to back... Idk. I'm neutral on the second one. The editors maybe did Angel dirty by leaving in the fact she spent a full 2h of the 4 they had to make their design just sitting and chatting & complaining.

Ngl I love these low placements for Venus and Tia. In my opinion Tia wasn't even in the top 4 performers on UK vs 2 and it's wild that she was rewarded for both a) screwing her team over to do better herself in the team challenge and b) being the best in comedy challenges when she was the only queen actually competing in her first language.

Ngl this is a triumph for me & I really like many of the tracks

I'm honestly appalled at the amount of social media straight up lies that have caused direct harm passed about and signal boosted by public figures with huge reach in the last week. This feels like a real turning point or moment of reckoning between the invented name and that he was a Muslim (two complete falsehoods) and then at the same time, the totally evidence-free claim that a female boxer at the Olympics was a man because she couldn't be so good at her sport unless she was. It's truly chilling to see people have no compunction whatsoever about sharing things that are just made up as if they were true and even taking violent action based on it.

To me its giving Tulisa comeback single & the vid is cringe

Didn't need to be a non elim, for me there were clear bottoms including John & Angel. The cast is fun though! Think they might be setting up for a Maxie win, she seems a jack of all trades so far.

The format sounds absolutely chaotic

I can't say I'm surprised. Even I myself have faced racism in the UK, and I'm white! My dad even now gets microaggressions too. The whole debate over racism here has got totally twisted with people finding all kinds of ways to be racist while justifying it to themselves that they arent.

Were people deliberately attacked in 2011 or is that incidental deaths by crush etc.? Maybe it's that we're more connected now but I definitely see more lynch mob esque targeted attack footage this time around. Totally agree as well media need to call it for what it is and have zero tolerance. Turning a blind eye is what got us here in the first place.

People are being ridiculously kid gloved about these people forming racist lynch mobs based on nothing but lies in the first place.

Sorry to call a spade a spade but I have to ask the question when someone is going around hinting and implying horrible things. I'm still on the fence about this to be honest. It's a bit much for you to retroactively call me defending a paeophile based on comments I made a year ago when Huw hadn't yet actually been accused feasibly of anything to do with minors. Which is, for what it's worth, the root of our disagreement here. You are wholeheartedly sticking with the claim that Huw Edwards did something with a 17 year old, but that claim has already been retracted. The story was based on allegations by the mother and stepfather of the teenager. In context, now that we know that Edwards liked young lads? Definitely borderline, especially if the content was takinga youthful style. But NOT, in fact, illegal, if the lawyer says that nothing illegal took place, because a minor cannot do anything relating to photography or adult work, ergo, IN THAT CASE, the claims of paying an underage teenager are exaggerated or falsified or made up whole cloth. And until we knew more about Edwards' proclivities, that was all the information we had; that the Sun had made a claim based on what estranged parents alleged was an illegal act, that was then proven by a lawyer to not actually be illegal.

I'm giving you context because I'm being nice and up until this point I've let you dance around it, but since you keep on keeping on, tough luck. Are you, or are you not, implying that Toby and I are pedophiles? Because you keep coming very close to the edge of hinting that and then going 'oh, it wasnt JUST you that I meant'.

I'dve given Eureka the win. Fierce was pretty good but I didn't really get 'future' from the last look. Alexis's design was great but the second look was a bit meh.
