Sounds like the bigger news is the controversy over allowing athletes with heightened testosterone levels to take part in the women's event - Angela Carini pulling out after 46 seconds in her fight against Imane Khelif.

Yeah well done to him, great result! A shame the chap from Tunisia finished fourth, would've been nice to see a country that doesn't feature in swimming too often in the medals. And especially a shame for Elijah Winnington who was at the front to start with but ended up in last - I feel like there's definitely a pun to be made there!

Eek at the Triathlon being postponed, hopefully it can still happen and not be reduced to a duathlon (feels a bit unfair for those who are best at swimming!)

Great result for Richards yesterday, particularly from an outside lane! Watching tonight's swimming now, no big shocks so far.

Just watching the Men's team competition now - really feel for that Chinese athlete who just fell of the bar twice, especially given how much of an impact it can have on the team score.

Absolutely - definitely worked out in our favour but crazy that the favourite can be knocked so far down by just missing one gate!
