Interesting! Looking at the tracklist I did wonder if this would be a bit more experimental from them but from the trailer it does sound like it'll just be more focussed on storytelling.

Richard Carapaz sadly won't be defending his gold in the Men's Road Race this year as Ecuador can only send one person this time round and they've chosen Narvaez. With Pogacar getting his third stage win in a row and putting a minute into everyone else yet again :lol: Well done to him though, and it has been nice to see a Tour with three genuine contenders going at it. Good to see Carapaz get the climbers' jersey, glad that didn't just go the way of Pogacar as well. And of course delighted to see Biniam Girmay getting the green jersey, really happy for him and hope there can be more than one black rider in next year's Tour!

With the FA Cup kicking off again in a couple of weeks, it's time for the Rolling Sweepstake to get going! Everyone who signs up will be assigned a team taking part in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup. You will then get points based on the team you are assigned, however if your team is knocked out, you will be assigned the team which beat your team. This means that everyone who enters will be able to accumulate points right up until the Final. Here's how the points system will work: - If your team wins, you will be awarded 5 points, plus the final goal difference of the match (excluding penalty shoot-outs) - If your team loses, you will be awarded the number of goals scored by your team as points - In the event of a replay, the losing team will recieve the sum of the goals scored in both games, plus one additional point. - A losing team will also recieve an extra point if the game goes to extra time, and two extra points if the game goes to penalties. - However, a losing team cannot be awarded more than 5 points (new rule to avoid the fun of the early rounds where some losing teams got more points than winning ones!) - If one team wins by default (e.g. a walkover) the 'winning' team will be awarded 5 points and the 'losing' team nothing. - Every person taking part will have a 'swap card' which they can play once throughout the tournament. When a player plays the swap card, instead of recieving points for their allocated team, they will recieve the points of their team's opponents. Play your 'swap card' by replying in this thread before the round you'd like to play it! If you miss the deadline for the first round then you can still participate and I will allocate you a team participating in whichever round you join in, however obviously you won't have any points from the first round.
