Just catching up on this a bit now - glad you've come round to liking Heat Waves again, it was great to see a song like that in the charts and its longevity was quite something! Scared to Start was one of the better charting songs of this year as well.

On another note, I had a look through the team line-ups the other day and it seems like Biniam Girmay will again be the only black rider taking part. A bit of a shame as there are other black riders in the peloton but it seems the teams have chosen to utilise them in the Giro/Vuelta instead.

We get going tomorrow! Should be an interesting one - if we were basing this off the past few years Vingegaard should win comfortably, but with his injury plus Pogacar completely dominating the Giro it should make for an interesting battle. Can't rule Roglic out either (or Evenepoel for that matter, although his recent results haven't suggested he's in the best shape for a 3-week race).

Certainly a good start for them! And they've been on top for the rest of this half so far as well.

A little late to report but the Dauphiné (generally used as a preparation race for the Tour de France) was won by Roglic, with Evenepoel finishing fourth - so Roglic definitely a contender. Pogacar and Vingegaard were notably absent though so still need to see how he fares against them.

Ouch for Turkey! Will be interesting to see how they fare against Czechia as they were worse than them against Portugal but better against Georgia. Portugal definitely a team to beat though!

Oof a real chance for Georgia to take it at the end there! Probably a fair result though given the Czechs were on top for the second half.
