Sound is very much winning then! I did think that would be the case but when I asked the question at work the people I was talking to were all lyrics focussed. I wonder whether there's a correlation between how much music you consume and whether you prefer the sound (as I imagine most of us here listen to lots of new music)?

And a sprint day spoiled by the breakaway today! Nice to see Benjamin Thomas get the win there, the first for Cofidis this year.

I definitely used to pay attention to sound more, but as I've thought more on my own beliefs/values lyrics have definitely come to play much more of a part! They can definitely stop me playlisting/charting songs I'd definitely have listened to 3 or 4 years ago, and equally can cause me to like songs which don't immediately grab me on sound a lot more.

Two pretty interesting sprint days the last few days, both with people attacking in the last few kilometres! A shame to see Girmay crash out though, was hoping he might be able to win a few stages :( Pogacar still in pink.

Chances are both will often play some part, but which do you ultimately care more about in a song - the sound/beat, or the lyrics?

Two days in and Pogacar already has a sizeable lead! If he stays upright you do wonder if there's anyone who'll be able to even come close.

A nightmare end to the season for Leeds with the QPR result - although I won't be too annoyed if Ipswich go up as I do enjoy seeing newer faces in the Premier League.

Ah a shame Altrincham couldn't make it through - although they did effectively get a pass through to this round with the Gateshead situation. Solihull Moors beating Barnet must be a turn-up for the books though!
