At what point does this all become convoluted though? It’s simple and to the point. I enjoy reading all the ideas people have but I really don’t think the results will change much, if at all. I understand going through phases with this, I was fully ready to quit in December. However, I do still think so much is luck, how the semis unfold, and how many songs are fighting for similar tastes — a good dance song (a qualifier on paper) isn’t always going to make it in a semi consisting of 5 other great dance songs, etc. I stan Elëdan but that’s basically what happened for me this month. I didn’t have the room 💔

I have changed my mind. Pop and dance blocs have too much choice (vote splitting), and Joshua Idehen is too much of a singular standout with an iconic closing spot. So, FLJ are winning with the biggest gap between 1 and 2 since 'Infohazard'

I would be curious to see how an anonymous round would play out, but I suspect the results wouldn’t change much. Unless someone is taking a risk or choosing a complete 180, tastes tend to align pretty consistently. The nations I gravitate towards in BJSC are usually the same ones I vote for in UP/Nuggets (without knowing) etc

You could be right! There aren’t many big alternative contenders this month, definitely fewer than usual, which helps. I still see Charlotte Cardin as the kind of song that picks up votes everywhere, even from unexpected nations (all of this is subject to change if someone from the listenthrough said it went down like TOMORA) 👀 My top 10 is currently something like this

I expect to be wrong about Greenfroze but I don't know who to swap them with. Séyetana, Greenfroze, and Trifoski in the same semi together could easily pool their votes into a wildcard that people will expect to DNQ but will ultimately make it with some big points (Dalisska?) I think SF2 has more (5) potential contenders and don't predict anything (outside of Hendinia) from SF1 to beat most of them x Contenders //
