I'm hoping for an Aeroche win out of the predicted winners — the big pop entries didn't really do anything for me this month

This project is an absolute disaster with critics and audiences — the CinemaScore is the worst ever for a comic book film and the worst of the year. It’s already showing signs of collapsing at the box office. I saw it last night and was mostly confused at how much of a boring slog it was. They did nothing with Gaga and the musical sequences seemed out of place. Honestly, a massive waste of her talent. I don’t know how they fumbled a sequel to not just a billion dollar film but also the most nominated film at the Oscars in 2020 this badly. It’s probably going to sweep Razzie nominations — unfairly or not. I really do think they had an idea with how things were going with how quickly they’re pivoting to LG7. Smart x

Oh I really didn’t think I was qualifying this month! It must have been close. A shame to lose Hinterlandia. SF2 must be strong if Metronomy & Porij can’t make it — looking forward to hearing the qualifiers.

Wait, not All Stars and Global All Stars completely breaking my brain and making me think my recent Drag Race loathing was irreversible. What a great first episode — and such a great cast?! I can't remember the last talent show that had such an eclectic and entertaining mix.

There was something much cooler about both 'Padam Padam' and 'Tension' than this and 'My Oh My' — I wish she had explored that sound more. Hopefully she does on the rest of the album.

I think fans who loved CTC/LFS will love this — it's definitely in that wheelhouse rather than Joanne and mostly just Gaga doing standards. I just expected some form of rock album after the artwork and teasers and less Christmas vibes. 'Happy Mistake' is a nice AC ballad though. Anyway, it's a side project so I don't mind it not being for me — she seems like the happiest she's been in years and more Gaga is better than no Gaga. I'll be over here perched for LG7.

They might be onto something — the visuals are a serve but also a complete swerve from the fact this is mostly a standard jazz covers album Her descriptions made me think they wouldn't play this so straight and there would be something more twisted here. I'm glad she's feeling good and happy for all the musical theatre lovers though x (It was smart of them to make sure we all knew the lead single and album were incoming)
