What an unceremonious and terrible finale. Can we please retire the LaLaPaRuza for the crown immediately? 8 queens in the final? It doesn't work. No final runway or returning queens (NPBFAG!), and perhaps the most predictable LaLaPaRuza in the history of the show — just boring television and a disservice to the queens. I am desperate for them to build on what they did during the Season 12 finale or somehow rejig the talent show into something more substantial for a finale. Keep the lip sync between the final two, but let each queen showcase what makes them special. Give them a budget! Anything else! If they're keeping this format, then they should have three brackets with two queens going forward, and then six down to four for the final. No non-present judges randomly choosing the just eliminated queen. If they're desperate for a LaLaPaRuza, then have the eliminated queens do one to get the final spot in the semi-finals and then go seven down to five. It would also give those girls another episode of screen time. It was a waste of time having Kerri reappear for five seconds and then get booted immediately. I do think the brackets turned out to be a good idea, but an idea that needs tweaking. It was also great to see so many queens showcased — NPBFAG especially — which is why it sucked not having them there at the final 🖤
