BUZZJACK GLOBE ALLIANCE
A final without Cumulonimbia and Fljótavík? Get me off this planet :'(

Robyn – Robyn (2007)
An absolute classic. Whew — the amount of hits on here.

UK General Election 2024
Luke Akehurst being parachuted into a safe seat says everything about this rendition of Labour and their views on racism. It's also truly laughable to suggest anything other than pure factionalism when Neil Coyle has been reselected.

Favourite Radical Optimism album track?
End of an Era x

SKY ALLIANCE
SoFTT *.* I clearly have no grasp on what is well-known when artists like Doechii and Mette seem way too popular for this
-
STAR PACT
I went to the most fun gig I have been to in forever last week (big LCD Soundsystem vibes live) but have a feeling this is going to be more annoying than liked *.* getcha getcha bon bon x

Camila Cabello feat. Lil Nas X - HE KNOWS
It's El Guincho! She's getting some of the best production of the year.

UK General Election 2024
Ha, Sunak would rather be in the US this summer than pretend to have any grasp on the job anymore. I wonder how quickly he'll disappear.

RPDR | All Stars | Season 9
The general reaction to this season is probably the most muted I have seen in years? Zero stakes makes sense as a celebration of some of the best queens from the franchise — not with these queens. The format doesn't work for me. I understand they've probably been struggling to book talent and need to keep the queens happy but there must be something other than this. The first two episodes were unbelievably bland and I can't believe we are stuck with these girls for an entire season. I wish they would consider taking a year off between All Stars seasons, or at least alternate between a Global/Vs the World/All Stars etc. Angeria though <3

Billie Eilish - HIT ME HARD AND SOFT
Oh, this is incredible. I didn't expect something as expansive and almost formless as this — multiple songs morph and contort themselves effortlessly into something else. It's impressive. 'Birds of a Feather' sounds like a huge single that never was — don't think she has ever sounded better.

Radical Optimism • Third Album
'These Walls' is probably the best choice for a potential MOR/TikTok/US hit but 'Whatcha Doing' is infinitely better. I can't see anything else working.
-
Radical Optimism • Third Album
'Falling Forever' is one of those songs fans want desperately as a single despite it screaming flop. The chorus is an immediate skip x
-
Radical Optimism • Third Album
Even if the album hasn't been it for me it still feels very deserved — it's great to see a popstar like her continue to smash it. *.*

ERGEBNISE - BJSC CLXIV FINALE
Well done everyone, some great results near the top. I genuinely thought Cumulonimbia were in contention for the win though?! Second in the semi and top 15! Very happy with that. It’s been a rough few months for poor Neliönoir so this is a fantastic result x
-
ERGEBNISE - BJSC CLXIV FINALE
I tend to consistently place in the thirties so anything higher than that would be quite lovely x

BJSC CXLIV - Finale
Neliönoir votes are in. Possibly one of my favourite finals.

Radical Optimism • Third Album
So, after a day with it... I really thought we would be in for something special with this — Danny, AG, Kevin Parker, Dua's pop hitmaking sensibilities creating this psychedelic, trip-hop, Britpop-inspired record that uses Primal Scream and Massive Attack as references?! A tribute to UK rave culture?! That sounds immense on paper — what a shame it didn't come to fruition. It's a competent album but ultimately quite bland and faceless for such insane talent involved. I wouldn't be against a fun Balearic, Mediterranean summer pop album either but even then it's just not pushed enough and honestly just a little dull. 'End of an Era' and 'Maria' are good. The guitar and her French on 'French Exit' — lovely. I don't care about numbers as long as the music is good and she's creating the art she wants to — I'm rooting for her! But yeah, not great. <3

Radical Optimism • Third Album
Hmm. Honestly, with the reference points and collaborators — can’t say I’m not massively disappointed by this after two listens. Early days, I hope.

Sega Bodega - Dennis
Another great (and probably underrated) album <3 The production on Dirt though

BJSC CXLIV - Finale
When is the listenthrough? I would like to actually make it this time *.*

ERGEBNISE - BJSC CXLIV Halbfinale
I love Washed Out :(

ERGEBNISE - BJSC CXLIV Halbfinale
08 Zanmatony // Infected Mushroom - Change The Formality 04 Kylienips // Mörmaid - Wet Summer Infected Mushroom?! I loved it. Shocked at both of these not qualifying.
