So, after a day with it... I really thought we would be in for something special with this — Danny, AG, Kevin Parker, Dua's pop hitmaking sensibilities creating this psychedelic, trip-hop, Britpop-inspired record that uses Primal Scream and Massive Attack as references?! A tribute to UK rave culture?! That sounds immense on paper — what a shame it didn't come to fruition. It's a competent album but ultimately quite bland and faceless for such insane talent involved. I wouldn't be against a fun Balearic, Mediterranean summer pop album either but even then it's just not pushed enough and honestly just a little dull. 'End of an Era' and 'Maria' are good. The guitar and her French on 'French Exit' — lovely. I don't care about numbers as long as the music is good and she's creating the art she wants to — I'm rooting for her! But yeah, not great. <3

Hmm. Honestly, with the reference points and collaborators — can’t say I’m not massively disappointed by this after two listens. Early days, I hope.

Fun and wholesome season with a winner that had been obvious for weeks — deserved or not. The way they edited Marina out of her lip sync was questionable. Humour in lip-syncs can obviously be incredible moments but there was no skill in Tia throwing everything at the wall and hoping something would stick. It was just cringeworthy by the end and very sloppy — I thought LGD delivered over that. I do like Tia, and I do think she has had moments to shine and show her development as a queen, but mess. They need to stop this lip sync for the win format already — across all franchises. They also need to retool this entire show to be more incorporative of international queens. The same old tired challenges can go.

The whiplash the little Texas Hold'ems are going to get listening to this album nnn (Bodyguard sounds like a massive hit though)

As a lover of Charli XCX at her noisiest — this is doing it for me, cosplay or not *.* The production towards the end is incredible but Carti sounds pretty terrible and indecipherable — would have liked an instrumental outro

How has she done it again? I'm genuinely a little speechless listening to this — it's so rich and grandiose but also... loose and sprawling? This is going to take a while to unravel and digest. 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM' had me doubting her — what a fool.
