She started writing her first songs in the D.C. indie scene before the club music and electronic production that defined her early career took over. With new avatar, she closes the loop: R&B run through distorted guitar living alongside new intersections in dance music, culminating in a sound that pulls from everywhere she has ever lived musically. The queen is back and we are gazing at shoes. Gorgeous I fear this era might truly scalp me, especially if she is playing around with her prog roots

DANCE... Talk to Me Aperture 🖤

So you’ll be doing a clothes washing theme for 184 then?

Calling from Jankonie, Hushkanukia... It is President Michelle McManus! I read iconic comments like this and think how on earth can you describe BJSC to someone of sane mind @Cameron An absolute icon and you will be missed 🖤

Where was everyone last year when this song needed them

You're coming for my place too

I don't think I have ever had 11 commiserations before

I have not felt the warmth of the top ten since last summer 🥹 Thank you everyone, and congrats to our mother supreme @dandy* 🖤

Points from Cody and lil Poundcake make me feel tingly xxx

You were both in my commiserations 🖤 I had been listening to ‘Sinner’ since your last Cult of Venus entry so it took a back seat to some of the new discoveries this month 🥹

Grace Ives rise begins now

FLJ stomping on our necks is an annual thing now then?

My CUSTOM GIF

Jada Pinkett and Nelly doing much better than I expected already 🖤 It's definitely looking like an FLJ win

Gorgeous presentation 🖤

My controversial suggestion is... I think things are in a good place as they are, the mods are doing a great job keeping everyone engaged year after year, and overcomplicating things would do more harm than good However, I would somehow make things easier and more streamlined for each host. Maybe some kind of standard Google form that automatically tallies everything into a spreadsheet so hosts have more time for creative hosty things? I don't know how any of that works (and maybe it's not as simple as it sounds), but I do know hosting can be the pits x

hehe which ones 🥹

I’m terrorising my studio with it today. “Doesn’t this give you a headache?” …no, CRANK IT!
