  1. Scream! "Not handled perfectly" is quite an understatement — they made a false allegation that Huw Edwards committed a crime and purchased underage photos. They have quite happily stirred up blatant homophobia when that allegation fell apart. The "actual story" seems like quite the non-story — a closeted man potentially cheating on his wife with young men online is not a rarity, as creepy as it might seem. I don't think anyone is supporting or condoning his behaviour. There is some nuance here because we don't know the full picture — however, we do know that no crime has been committed, which disproves the story in The Sun.
  2. I'm a little behind — so, the first allegation that The Sun ran with wasn’t even made by the person, it was made by a third party, their parent, without their consent? And since then both The Met and South Wales Police have said no crime has been committed? This has been the biggest news story of the week? I feel like I am going insane.
  3. A massive bop that deserved much more than it got. That outro >
  4. Everyone listen to the Mandy, Indiana album asap because it's fantastic — I honestly struggled to choose a song to send from it (also didn't realise they had been sent previously, oops) Thank you for hosting Cody!
  5. Congrats Kath! I would have given jellyskin more points if I didn't know the song already — such a great contest! Can we not wait a year until the next one, please?
  6. There has to be another format that isn’t the current one nor non-elimination. Who wants to see Jorgeous struggle through an entire season?
  7. A non-elimination season with that cast?
  8. I don’t know where to start with this episode…
  9. Sigh. I really don't want Threads to become the next Twitter but the early adoption rate (including verified brands and celebrities) suggests otherwise. How long will it take for Meta to plague the app with ads, Reels and terrible feeds filled with people you don't follow nor have any interest in?
  10. Votes deadline is still tomorrow night, yes? I’ll have my final listen tonight — I’m struggling to decide between my top three.
  11. It’s great from the chorus onwards but the cursive vocals in the first verse are almost painful to get through.
  12. Oh, we’re in for a return to form with this album?
  13. Song of the summer! I should have known James Ford produced this — it's fantastic. It's a great direction for her. I'm going to need her 'What's Your Pleasure?' right now.
  14. I’m struggling to see a better album releasing this year — she really did that

  16. 11 would be absolutely cruel — I can see it happening.

‘Attention’ is incredible — I didn’t expect the nineties trip hop from her. What a video too. I have never been a big fan so this is a big switch up.
  19. I'm glad some people really liked 'One Touch' (Kath especially *.*) although I did think BAMBII would do a little better than Charlotte Adigéry — but I'll take it! 39th twice now is such a random placement. thank you x This is the first contest where I actually voted for the winner as well — congrats!
  20. Shilling for prescription medicine is absolutely bleak and beneath her. Are her team that desperate for money? Keep it.
  21. Oh wow — I don't know where to start with what to send.
  22. I love LaLa Ri but really hoped she would be stronger this season. Her sense of fashion hasn't really improved much and she seems pretty content with having fun and being safe, which is fine. I just know there is an unstoppable queen in there somewhere.

  24. Kandy was good this week (the song carried) but Jessica and LaLa seemed like the obvious standouts to me with Alexis not far behind. My issue was knowing Kandy would win as soon as redemption was uttered at the beginning. I don't think anyone did badly though. There is a difference between debating the ins and outs of a reality show and going beyond that with racist or fatphobic language. I have seen a lot more recently on Twitter, but all the worst people are getting boosted on there these days.
  25. Coming last again would be a little bit iconic tbh
