I have flopped with every entry so far but I don't mind — taste is subjective. It’s just a forum contest with varying tastes in music. I’m a little baffled by some of the songs people like (I could just listen to MUNA…) but that is on me. My only real issue (and this is from very limited experience, I haven't had the time to really engage outside of listening) with the contest so far is the quick turnaround and how it benefits immediate songs, but I get it — it's a monthly contest and I'm comparing it to Unknown Pleasures. I’m more than happy to bottom every month if it means I come across something as good as 'Somewhere Near Marseilles' again.
