Unfortunately, it really is one of the most disappointing albums of the year. I like 'Alibi' in a vacuum, but an entire album essentially built around it is just dull. It's especially cruel listening to 'LUX' after this.

I would have said in September that she had a good chance, but it's unlikely now. Sam Fender, Olivia Dean, Dave, Lily Allen, The Last Dinner Party, Pulp, and Florence + the Machine (this is especially getting more acclaim than I expected) are likely all above JADE. The reviews for Ed Sheeran were mediocre at best, and he didn't get in last time.
