30 years, used to listen to the album over and over. Madonna was great in the film and all the promo that followed its release. Think I saw the triple Gold vinyl option for less than £60 via the Andrew Lloyd Webber store if anyone is interested.

It’s a very dated production but was decent enough at the time.

Gotta be going silver soon and then who knows might surpass gold before the end of 2026 if support is strong across all platforms 🤞

Head hopefully already well over 2.1 million in the UK given its 2026 surge in popularity. Though it’s streaming success seems to be spread across the world especially in mainland Europe.

Haven’t ordered anything yet, might buy the Head vinyl and one of the Fever ones. It’s quite a disappointment, deluxe CD should come with the tour DVD or live album…I have the one released 2002 somewhere…but the CD is missing as it was in my car when the CD player and CDs inside were robbed 😭 Wasn’t that CD an incomplete live album?

It’s quite expensive in relation to the CD but they are so low quality. The vinyl looks decent and if it’s a similar quality to Tension/ Mom/LCA I’ll be very happy. If they can shift 5k in the UK that’s a good result for a niche and pricier product. With streaming and the odd download could reach 7k for the week.

Back then the albums chart was much slower and it was harder to make number 1. Kylie entering at 2 with solid sales was a success, the singles chart was where the chart excitement was focused. The albums market did start to rapidly change through the early noughties…price reductions became the norm for older albums, to combat widespread filesharing…paid downloads weren’t an option yet. Light Years and Music were discounted to £6 in most big supermarkets, as were many albums, during 2002. Light Years racked up loads of extra sales and chart weeks because of the Fever success and this discounting.

I bought the Fever black vinyl from Dig a couple of years ago at a bargain price thanks to you. It’s 180g, gatefold…more than happy with it!

The The description for KMO and other vinyl albums didn’t seem genuine once I looked into it in more detail…e.g. mock up image, vinyl of any colour, no sleeve. All via a non descript seller. …. however I also saw a Sabrina Carpenter blue vinyl that didn’t come with any disclaimer and was distributed by Chalkys. That’s probably a genuine one.

I’ll delete the app too, it was so weird how I came across the link in the first place. It came up in the google shopping options alongside the usual Amazon/ HMV etc so I just clicked it…doesn’t show up now with the same search terms.

I cancelled it because apparently Temu/ Ali express etc aren’t official sellers and are full of bootlegs. Sales aren’t included for chart purposes either, happy to be proven wrong but if that is the case I’ll buy KMO from an official music retailer…KMO needs that gold certification!!!

Weirdly typed in ‘kylie vinyl’ on google and a link which I can no longer reload enabled me to buy Kiss Me Once vinyl for less than £10 via Temu. Hopefully it’s genuine!

The CGYOOMH 12inch vinyl is good, they could have added a bit more to it though, plus a 7inch with Boy as the b side would have gone down well. Fever Extended on double vinyl and CD would have been better than what they’ve come up with. Might buy them all though regardless.

They did something like this when the launched Disco…that time Kylie appeared in between the videos. No sign of her yet hahaha. Hopefully the views will be logged against each video to bump up her YouTube stats.

Yes it’s had plenty of vinyl reissues so hopefully they have something expanded or a special tour even….though tickets for that will disappear fast.

My Kylie playlist has added about 500 saves since Friday…usually adds 30 a day. Deffo the AFL effect!!!

She squeezed in so many tracks but I do think Devil should have been in there and or a nod to Impossible Princess, even if it was an brief interlude, e.g using ‘these are the dreams, of an impossible princess’. Though all the songs performed were worthy of inclusion.
