Enjoyed it, nicely filmed and the mixing between dates and backstage was more engaging than the usual. Also significantly better cinematography than Golden Live.

Rewatched 2 & 3…much better experience watching it all again and it’s so obvious now that the 2nd cancer diagnosis was something additional he had to add in ..hence the longer last episode length. Bless her. It’s a great tribute. Bring on the tour…definitely will be watching it multiple times!!!

Funny it’s so cheap on Amazon and selling in late May haha. Netflix promo for the new Xmas tracks might even help them clear out the stock they readded to her store page inc the gold CD and candy cane vinyl.

Yes to rewatching, first episode much better 2nd watch. Plus we have the tour Wednesday. Must say this UK heatwave is putting me off watching TV generally, was going to rewatch 2 and 3 but was out late at a party Sunday and melted yesterday haha.

Was at a party last night and people were asking me about it and already saying they’re going to watch it because they’ve heard good things. Kylie definitely winning many new admirers.

In general both Light Up and Story aren’t achieving transformative numbers but over time Story might rack up decent numbers numbers as an album track. I’ve put it track 1 on my Spotify Kylie playlist, it’s now over 25,000 saves after adding another 2500 since Wednesday. Wish Spotify gave me a kickback hahaha.

Kworb saying CGYOOMH had its best day ever 22nd May, 513k. It really does have a life of its own. YouTube has increased across the board for all her videos, Padam has doubled but sadly it’s still less than 30k per day. It’s weird how YouTube numbers are generally much lower for everything except ‘Head.

Her entire catalogue has increased… songs featured/ mentioned moreso. Great to see and hopefully it continues long term.

Yes episode 3 cuts off in the credits before Light Up plays…had to go back to the episode and then it continued into Light Up.

Yes, the point I’m making is that once Kylie revealed the 2nd cancer diagnosis and the meaning behind ‘Story’, it completely replaced the need for ‘Light Up’ …..a very sweet song about the unconditional love from a mother. Kylie maybe revealed the 2nd diagnosis very near the end of filming, therefore meaning that ‘Story’ was all the director ever needed to open and close the series, he still felt obliged to use Light Up (as he asked her well beforehand for a song to accompany the series)…so he stuck it on at the very end of the credits.

It won’t Light Up the charts but we can all appreciate it regardless. This director should have placed it over the immediate end credits not after Story. Story should have played over the final scenes and as soon as the credits rolled, Light Up should have started. I guess because she revealed the 2nd cancer and what Story was actually about, a new song was actually not required.

We need the algorithm to take it on. The (not so hidden but we all missed it) message about her secret new battle really alters the song. Quite incredible. Even her revealing it right at the end of episode 3 was sincerely tortuous for her. She’s an old school celebrity, would have kept it to herself until it just popped out in a random interview, like when she revealed she was initially misdiagnosed on a US talk show.

SBIT is likely to be the next to go double platinum, unless they delete it or LY vinyl sells 100k hahahaha.

Story picking up, think it added 12k. Total daily streams over 2.5 million. About a million higher than usual. Let’s hope the numbers continue to stay higher.
