Snow Patrol & Kylie - These Alarms
Can’t see a remix coming but an extended version with a middle 8 or whatever it’s called would be good. The song is excellent but over too quick. It’s moved back into the top 20 on the uk rolling week airplay chart.

iTunes, Streaming & YouTube
Over 1.2 million per day now on YouTube….looks as though an ad is driving up the numbers…be interesting to know what that costs vs the streaming revenue.

iTunes, Streaming & YouTube
Kworb reporting CGYOOMH has achieved over 1 million views on YouTube on the 20th July. Easily its highest ever. Last month it managed its best ever monthly total 15.9 million, July on target to beat that too.

Confessions II ● 15th album
Great to see all the number 1 entries. Think in the uk it’ll hold up ok as there’s good streaming.

Snow Patrol & Kylie - These Alarms
This song has really grown on me and I’ve hardly listened to it because I’ve been listening to Madonna on a loop. Went back to it yesterday and it’s so well written, love their harmonies.

Confessions II - First Week Sales
The streams will be much better than Westlife. Today’s midweek report will be enlightening. I didn’t realise there was a pop up shop over the weekend in London. Should have sold a few vinyl there!

Shakira is pre 2000s?

Hopefully a good report in tomorrows midweek update.

Confessions II - First Week Sales
Is the 29k pre sale figure mentioned in the Friday chart prediction thread confirmed from a reliable source? If so this is going to be her best week one since Hard Candy (can’t remember what celebration and FEL opened with).

Confessions II ● 15th album
Multiple listens in now! School is very similar to Britney’s Get Naked from Blackout. Madonna at the time said she used to workout to Blackout! Can really hear Daft Punk influences on the One Step Away instrumental and PSBs on the album standout track Bizzare. Love Sensation and Bring Your Love both sound so much better within the album. I see many are loving Danceteria, it’s ok but to me it is a poppier and far less accomplished rehash of Vogue and it sounds like MDNA (which I loved at the time but is not a classic Madonna album sound). Read My Lips is such a dud within the album. I now think IFSF is the best track by far. Sounds even better as the album opener.

UK Chart Runs & Sales
Surely well over 1 million overall. I’m actually surprised it’s taken this long to go platinum post 1994….its overall streams are very large, guess they’re spread across many countries.

Confessions II ● 15th album
Love the album, loads of references back to previous albums but all weaved together so well. The last third doesn’t hit that well so far but will enjoy running with this in my ears the next few weeks!!!
