The main hit it’s taken now is the Laufey version, particularly on Spotify. Hopefully Kylie’s version will fall back in favour. Depends on how long Laufey is pushed on playlists. However it is a cover version so all these new versions are fair game.

I just want it to go silver in midsummer, purely for the lolz.

Closer 91/2 had a bit of attention on tik tok. The tour versions of CIMW and IYE had a big boost. I added them to my Kylie playlist and I know another big fan playlist included the same versions during the tour.

Thank you. Considering the improvements during the tour the overall Spotify increases are overall fairly in line with 2024? Christmas tracks in general down but hopefully they rebound in 2026 with full availability of the 3 new tracks and XMAS added some point. So YouTube added from 2026?

We all need to stream it often and in full. In fact I’m going to stream it on Amazon Music on a loop till I go to bed ha ha.

Surely it’s close. Was hoping one of the other Kylie Christmas songs would achieve silver but sadly not. We’ve no idea if any are remotely close. Santa Baby was close to a million but not seen any update so I’m thinking it’s not made it. Anyway now T2 is silver let’s hope for a few more in the next few months.

Plus I’m sure there’ll be a remix/ all version bundle that might appeal to fans who didn’t download already. It should easily go silver at some point in 2026.

Unless three of the tracks have a mega streaming boost it won’t be going gold for a very long time. At least there are decent vinyl sales that will trickle in too. May buy the yellow one at some point.

It was still on the Amazon top 100 chart until the weekend but has disappeared now. The edge towards silver continues. Be funny if it stealthily reaches 200k in midsummer ha ha.

It’s still top 40 on the Amazon app chart. It might collapse quickly and drop out but at least some streams/ sales are still happening.

Fair result after being 5 on Monday’s midweek. Hopefully well past 190k now. Edit…just checked, last year’s equivalent chart week 12k only was enough for top 20. Boxing Day might make a difference and improve the totals but think 15k this week is too ambitious. We’ll soon find out.

In the 20s perhaps…without data and the strange variations of the Amazon app chart it could be 14 today or 40. Bizarrely it’s climbed to 33 on the Amazon chart.

Must say the Zoetrope was excellent but thought the gold 7inch was a slight step back in quality from the Tension era vinyl singles. They could just release XMAS on a picture disc vinyl next year…those candy cane tights from the video would look great. Another recent iconic video image along with Padam and LCA.

Yep streaming the extended now then album going on a loop when I go out running. Xmas at 30 on the unlimited chart. Fingers crossed this is a true reflection all the other Christmas songs are way below or gone…except bizarrely for the Bing Crosby Peace on Earth song which appeared at 1 just before Christmas Day and is still top 20. Very odd. YouTube video heading towards 6 million…shame most of the UK views are 600/1 for chart purposes but good to see it still on 300k plus a day.

Wonder how many are left? It’s a quality vinyl repress so it’s a bargain….but gonna be a tough sell now.

Looks as though they didn’t overproduce the physicals. Red vinyl and CD probably going to be reduced first. Green ones will be good for next season unless they expand it (again) with more tracks.

She’s so young and sings so earnestly on it. Sweet memories.
