£10 for vinyl is well worth it for casual fans.

Guess the main market for Aussie physicals is Kylie fans regardless of whether the other artist is Australian.

Extended Tension and Disco, Christmas and Kylie 88 marked as about to sell out. Guest List Vinyl and Infinite Disco no longer available. Guest List 5 Disc still cheap but only 3 left. Be interesting to see if any are replenished. Tension Pink still available at any price is surprising. Would have expected that to be unavailable now.

It makes no sense. I agree it can’t be 600k since 1994. It was only confirmed as a UK million seller in recent years and as we saw from that streaming chart it’s not achieved enough sales that way either. Though of course it is correct that it’s now officially platinum. Weird how PWL never applied for one in 1989. It’s total sales ‘might’ be 1.2 million, perhaps that’s how the glitch has occurred though you’d expect other big pre 1994 hits to have random certs. Edit….just checked and platinum used to be 1 million sales for songs released prior to 1989.

Let’s hope the certifications for her other hits start rolling in soon, weird how they waited so long to apply for Platinum. Would really love another total’s update! Stupid question is it 100 streams = 1 sale, for sales totals not chart purposes.

One positive of not being that high on the NMF playlists is that the drop off won’t be as hard. It’s a fun duet hope it can crossover and have success. Orville’s deep country vocal and then Kylie’s very breathy 2nd verse does gain attention which might explain the Shazam position. It almost doesn’t sound like Kylie.

30 now on the rolling AirPlay…. heard it today on Radio 2 for the first time and quite why Vernon Kay thinks it’s appropriate to keep adding in Keith Harris and Orville during the song is beyond me.

34 on the rolling uk AirPlay chart…should climb a bit more when the full week is announced on Friday.

Think the Devotion figure is a glitch as it’s almost duplicating the other version. Head has been growing again after it receded to under 400k most days for a few weeks. PP has held well above 200k since Rupaul but now is climbing back to over 250k a day….her catalogue generally has improved this last week. Maybe the Pride month effect plus her festival performance and the associated publicity.

Hope it is I only gave that one watch as it seemed to show her getting in and out of cars half the time. I do think she’s now having a far more varied mix of performances and appearances so it could be a much better documentary.

I couldn’t remember where I’d heard him then saw he was on Gaga’s Born this Way 2021 anniversary release.

Love it, such a good vocal from both of them and elevated by the production. It takes you on a musical ride. Very clever.

Hopefully I’ll happen across one in HMV. I’m not bothered about buying them, already have several X and Aphrodite CD plus have the Parlo Albums CD boxset - which was so nicely made. As others have said, I just want Aphrodite and X on vinyl!

Price of vinyl now is how the cost of physicals should have evolved to with inflation etc but file sharing destroyed the market late 90s onwards. People just think CD and vinyl is ‘expensive’ if priced above £15….because they’re so used to seeing CD reduced to £1-5. The public don’t value the actual music and art.

Such an aggressive discount…sure they’d have sold the same amount at £10 or even towards £15. Though 500 plus is a fair amount of oversupply of a niche product. Be interesting to see what happens with the Aquamarine one via her store…surely there’s a few of those gathering dust.
