Yep think she’s pushed herself back into contention for gigs/ opportunities that they might never have considered her for. She was always mainstream and post Golden, viable in a changing music market, but these extras were being given to new hot artists mostly or the generation below her.

…oh I ordered the gold vinyl and CD yesterday but eventually delivery date changed to 5/1/26….now both on Amazon are saying stock available and can be delivered tomorrow but order still says 5/1/26…surely they’ll change my delivery date….any advice …cancel and reorder or just leave it?

Yep it looks as though XMAS might make it to 53k plus so no amount of estimated scammery could be conjured to increase Wham! by 17k.

The volume of Amazon streams for Kylie has been incredible. Their contribution to the Christmas market is clearly way larger than 20-25%.

The Apple and Spotify update for Wham surely not going to large enough. A large amount of Wham’s total will include Amazon data too and some sales.

Surely that’s a big enough lead Thursdays estimate won’t be big enough for Wham.

Just ordered the gold vinyl and CD from Amazon saying 3/1/26….im hoping they source stock from the Kylie store but she better not lose out by 2 sales.

Yes next week will be interesting because it should have much bigger streams and should have a good lead first look/ Monday. I guess from that lead we’ll know if it stands a chance. Team Kylie may have other download options e.g bundles inc the video and a remix. Guess it depends on yesterday’s data eeeek they might go hard today instead.

‘Moot Point’ is the proper term plus as has been said since my post and yours, Wham have also released and are promoting physical copies.

Yep the beauty of this Amazon tie in is their data is never estimated so Thursday streams are recorded and vital to this songs success. Don’t stop streaming tomorrow. Downloads are instant and if you’re on Amazon prime they’ll despatch a physical order same day (stock permitting). Kylie store will just mark as despatched and report all Thursday sales and downloads , they’re not daft.

One other point that is important regarding XMAS is she’s sold many thousands of physicals, CD is £5, 7inch £13 and Zoetrope £20. That’s a large revenue topping £50k plus several thousand downloads (admittedly low revenue but it’s a tough market to sell in when most stream). It’s not just doing well on Amazon streams from prominent play listing and the Alexa spam.

We need to be fed a Thursday update because if Wham start to close we can rally the troops to download as much as possible. They’re missing a trick with a potential remix….call it the Xmas Jingle Bell Ball chant version or something. 1000 sales almost certain. It’s great they’ve sold out the Gold Vinyl on Amazon but also freaking annoying it didn’t sell out next week.

More incentive for any one of the fanbase to download if they’ve yet to, plus stream to make sure every angle covered. We want to win this by a margin in case the streaming lag swallows up the gap.

Surely that download figure is going to improve notably. It’s going to be needed as the uplift in physical sales (looking at Amazon last month sales) is great but insignificant alone. We need the physical and downloads to be well over 10k.

That’s great news. I wonder if the Amazon video views are contributing on top of the number 3 position on their Amazon chart? Hopefully not. I’m guessing as I’m subscribing to Amazon the video view is on the 100/1 ratio whereas YouTube I'd be 600/1.

I always love Kylie’s vocal delivery. Biased but it’s by far the best. I’m dreaming of XMAS, SB and Hot in December making the top 100 next week. Be another coup for her.

They need to sponsor the video on YouTube. YouTube seems to have tailed off for music videos in recent years but there’s still plenty of music videos piling on the views. I just watched SMFF with Gente. So many similarities to XMAS, it has almost 20 million views. Be great if XMAS can accelerate into hundreds of thousands a day whilst it can because once we go into January it’ll plummet. Just downloaded the 4 tracks on Kylie.com. Nice hearing the acapella.
