Very strange T2 not silver, considering it has no big streaming hit, but a few picking up reasonable amounts. Of course, Spotify stats are worldwide so we have no way of knowing. I'm always streaming it on low and overnight on my old iPad hahaha. They've probably banned my streams.

Potentially we can do so much collective fan damage with the many download options, for very little outlay. Do understand not everyone wants to part with cash but we can all stream the Kylie Christmas output on a loop on different devices. Just go batshit crazy with it ha ha. It’s funny how downloads were so prevalent until ten years ago but in general no amount of cajoling can generate a fraction of what we used to buy. Streaming has totally taken over and it’s only recently the physicals have made a small comeback.

Kylie’s physical sales revenue this week very large. Zoetrope is £20, Gold Vinyl £13 and CD £5. If it was a revenue chart she’d have won already. It’s not just Alexa/ Amazon spam streams keeping her on top.

Where was this figure reported? Obviously it’s good considering the death of downloads but be interesting to know the source. My Zoetrope vinyl is gorgeous and at £20 it’s crazy that’s just 1 sale. People complaining about Alexa spam etc (fair criticism but the streaming marketplace is a scam anyway) don’t consider this 5k plus physical sales figure is at least £50k in revenue….more than 50,000 downloads!

We can definitely improve that download figure as the week goes on. Could make all the difference Thursday.

Actually has it been reported what XMAS had sold on yesterday's update? Said a 7k lead, 10k separating the top 5. Nothing about total sales. This Monday midweek is so NEEDED.

Be great if they do less than 45k. Isn't it a bit weird this year that streaming numbers generally are down? Fingers crossed it stays like that except for XMAS hahahahaha.

Yes if she really wants a Christmas number 1 they really need to be like Sam Ryder and don’t hold back with the extra versions and beg us to download. Do think Bondi is so dreadful that they’ll wait to promote more tonight or tomorrow. Downloads are instant so they can go hard with it Tuesday to Thursday.

Great we have new versions. I thought we’d have the Capital Xmas chant at the start of the Extended but maybe we’re going to be given that on a remix instead ha ha. Give us what we want Team Kylie!

Kylie looked like she did in 2015 singing Warm this Winter. Beautiful. It seemed shoehorned in. Did she record that last night? Though the James Sit Down performance that was shown later looked like it was recorded months ago. Truly hope XMAS picks up some extra impetus.

I’m hoping that 17k already is at least 12k from streaming. Today will have been strong but it’ll be less Monday-Thursday but we could be looking at 40k streams for the week plus downloads and physicals. 50k total might be enough. Tomorrow’s midweeks will help. If she has a strong chance the fans need to download whatever new version they can get away with. Instrumental, extended etc.

Eh? Streaming the entire album Inc XMAS on Amazon ten times daily contributes towards 10 streams to each individual track and 130 daily streams to the album calculation. They’re double counted. Just streaming XMAS is fine but the album needs support too.

Album streamed on repeat (low volume on different devices haha) on both Amazon and Spotify and video ‘watched’ several times.

How was the video premiere?? Hopefully they’ve produced more of the singles as it’s being distributed through Amazon. I agree though it’s already a niche product/ hard sell outside the fanbase. Once we have first look etc then we’ll roughly know what the main players are tracking towards as well as Kylie’s presale and on time Amazon figures. Outside of number 1/ top 5 or whatever I do hope XMAS bags plenty of chart sales this week and next because otherwise that silver cert won’t happen anytime soon otherwise.

The video is on Amazon Music now. First time I’ve seen a video on there but just looked on Sam Ryders page and his Christmas song has a video too - awful just like his song ha ha. On the playlists it’s the song not the video but it’s there on her artist page.

Those god awful graphics at the start I just don’t understand why they’d ever be used. Last bit with the dancers is easily the best bit, the kids are cute throughout and it matches the songs energy. She really needs to ditch this director it’s the same rehashed concept, some parts looks decent, other sections edited weird/ look cheap. I much prefer the Office Party vid.
