I’ve noticed XMAS is 51 on the Amazon Global chart. If Amazon move her up to top on both Hits and Christmas Hits it’ll really help as the Christmas Past playlist is generating loads of streams for the perennial classics.

Does anyone know how Tom Grennan/ Sam Ryder performed on the Amazon chart? Did either ever overtake Wham etc?

We just need XMAS to ASAP climb to number 1 on Amazon. Shameless algorithm and Alexa manipulation welcome.

Yep this coming chart week is the one to go for. Streams will be lower so physicals and downloads will be far more effective. The week after that includes Christmas Day streams will be gigantic. Wham and Mariah likely will be unstoppable. Kylie probably would rather have a ‘Christmas number 1’ but if it doesn’t come close I don’t think she’ll be overly upset. She’s had/ having a great career regardless.

Buckle up guys next week is gonna be a blast.

Yep much better the stock is with Amazon.

Wham managed 59k equivalent Christmas chart last year (with 40 year anniversary physicals) so think XMAS will need more than 45k. Who knows though until we see pre sales of the physical, downloads and Amazon coming good with top playlists across the board. Don’t think the spam will truly kick in until the week after that runs to Christmas Day. As Mr C Joel has said we need a big lead in first look to fire up the battle. It could be XMAS wins quite easily or it’s just never in the running…I’m ready for all possibilities.

They’re going to have to spell it out very clearly on Strictly that it’s an AMAZON EXCLUSIVE. Given many fans don’t understand what exclusive means, the strictly audience won’t have a clue.

Saw TeamKylie on instagram posted more stock and lo and behold I’ve now a CD to add to the vinyl ha ha. I’m expecting that blue vinyl to be signed next omg!!!

It’s like last week when the Office Party BTS was available for a few hours. So silly.

Yep I don’t think it can stay number 1 (if it makes it this week) just more stay top ten with decent second week sales.

I think once they reach 18k this week they’ll be confident, if not they’ll offer a special web store download for instant sales. Is there any big album next week? Might be fantasy but potentially if they can sell plenty of physicals inc the pop up one, a special digital exclusive and 2000 streams they will stay top 5 week 2. Week 3 the streams should be enough alongside a few physicals still selling to stay in the chart reasonably high.

Hopefully they’re confident with number 1 already and next chart week they’ll put the remaining Popup Shop vinyls for sale…to sustain sales better week 2.

……the Amazon numbers are going back up too so it’d be bloody brilliant if they’ve not yet reported all sales through the pop up or her store. The reported CD sales seem quite ‘low’ though of course I do understand this is only a repack and the appeal of the new formats is still limited when compared to a full album release and something like T2. 20k would be a good result now and surely should be sufficient for number 1….though its sales so far may already be enough. It is crazy how popular on streaming Olivia is…over ten times more. I was hoping Kylie’s streams would be much better. Thank god for the Amazon spam.

They’ll both benefit with joint streams for chart purposes if Fully Wrapped is indeed classed as a compilation. It’s named as a compilation in the online credits.

They’ll be double counted if it’s classed as a compilation by the OCC. It’s daft, that’s why so many hits albums are permanently charting in the UK. If the above is to be believed Fully Wrapped is showing as a New not Reentry.

Santa Baby is around top 60. Others not showing sadly.

Oh one thing I’ve noticed on both Spotify and Amazon is Fully Wrapped is marked as a ‘compilation’ in the credits. That would be quite interesting if they mark it as a Greatest Hits album for chart purposes. Would mean both Kylie Christmas and Fully Wrapped would receive streaming points. We’ll find out soon when the official charts shows us the midweeks.

No not bad but she missed some notes she would normally hit, a couple mid note. She either has a cold or is croaky from the promo/ interviews. Santa Baby was solid but her voice wasn’t as rich as it can be. XMAS was very good overall, was that its first ever proper live performance? Capital have added it and Santa Baby to their YouTube channel! She does look incredible, she’s in fabulous shape. The red latex dress was stunning.

Shocking it was so late loads left before and during. It wasn’t her best vocal performance sounds like she has an infection again but she ploughed on through. XMAS was great and should have been the closer.

She’ll probably sing Let it Snow or Only You haha. Not that it matters by 10pm they’ll all be leaving to catch the last tube home.
