On Spotify Padam will eventually outperform the entire numbers of Disco GLE. Shame Kylie didn’t have a writing credit. Would love to know the royalty split.

The only purpose for adding Padam and a couple of other tracks post 2019 to SBIT is for chart purposes/ increased chance of a better chart position…it won’t increase any revenue from streaming. Can’t see an updated version with new vinyl/ CD being released for quite a while. Makes more financial sense to focus on multi formats for new albums and reissues of the catalogue on vinyl.

I expect it’ll be reduced to £19.99 or something in a week or so. Update 17th January …it’s back under £27 this morning, black vinyl reduced to just over £20, pink vinyl gone up in price as has Infinite Disco…that has 2 copies left. Pink Vinyl maybe be about to sell out then? Though it doesn’t say how many copies are left.

Hopefully next year it has a bit more streaming power outside the top 2 tracks to chart inside the top 100. That’s its best chart performance based mostly on streams I think?

Price is dropping, now under £26. Amazon must use some sort of algorithm set against a maximum and minimum price. I don’t really think the 2022 Kylie Christmas vinyl was the best repress but if it goes below £10 I’m buying it.

Disco Extended is a total steal….could have wider appeal but vinyl is niche and the Disco ship has sailed…maybe if she tours and actually includes Magic and Real Groove. Not just Say Something.

Oh yes, remember that now….well it might encourage more sales as with prime it’s free delivery etc and is cheaper than her website with the stupid postage costs. It is a lovely double vinyl.

Just weird how it’s in and out on streaming. The remix was just under 150k yesterday which is decent going 5/6 days in.

Extended greyed out again on Spotify U.K…..bizarre. Last time I looked the remix was approaching 100k on Spotify after about 4 days…decent for a remix.

Extension surely will be reduced at some point. I received it as a gift otherwise I’d have waited…..though following my thought process, perhaps they’ve produced less this time based on the Disco Extended and ID oversupply, whatever that was. GLE is a bargain for a triple vinyl at around £20. Oh I’ve just realised the Spotify vinyl is still for sale…very strange. Anyone noticed that 10/10 Extended is greyed out again on Spotify uk?

I suppose on her website there’s just the CD, black vinyl and cassette left. If they reduce the cassettes I might buy them. On Amazon Extension is £29.99 which I think is a small reduction and the various Disco vinyls are cheap…Infinite Disco under £9….Extended Disco £10.08… both so cheap…how many did they make???

Gold surely this week. Do we know roughly its weekly sale since it achieved Silver?

Very surprising how the physical sales weren’t enough. At least we know Tension is collecting some streams and so it will achieve Gold in the not too distant future. So no discounts yet. Perhaps they made much less overall because they’d studied the market well.

HOTN only had one decent week of radio 2 plays, the rest of the time on the AList was lost amongst the Christmas releases. So the only thing really pushing any physical album sales was the ITV promo. Ideally it would have had this week too and she should have performed HOTN on SCD, Royal Variety or pre recorded it for use on a chat show. To be fair I think they did send it to radio early November but radio 2 didn’t add it for three weeks but instead played it sporadically.
