Padam is picking up streams nicely despite the Christmas takeover so I really hope it has a further boost post Boxing Day. Looks as though it’ll pass 100,000,000 Spotify streams once the streams from the 23rd December are added.

Is there a full CBS interview coming?

Reckon 25 million is possible by the 27th update.

Thank you for the sales update. I too am surprised it’s held up this week and it demonstrates there still a small market out there that still buys CD etc…only traditional promo will do it though.

Sure it will as it’s been much higher on Spotify and it’s backed up on deezer and apple…also whilst the streams usually drop off during the week it should be much less given it’s the week leading up to Christmas. Next week will be massive for Christmas songs on the chart as there’ll be five giant streaming days included. Kylie Christmas may chart somewhere for two weeks. Whilst Santa Baby has underperformed on Spotify the next four popular ones have done much better, plus I don’t remember tracks charting on Deezer as they have been doing.

^ Just saw that too…30 is a nice surprise hoping it can hold on well as the week goes on…at least it has some streaming still coming in. They may have stopped now but good that ITV have been mentioning the Audience With quite frequently during ad breaks.

You’re probably correct and the reason we’re seeing the figure is purely down to the vinyl element.

It might happen given Extension’s downloads have also been assigned to Tension. In Australia it’s charted separately though. Not sure if Disco Extended did too in Australia?

The big Wednesday drop was indeed down to the streams all being transferred to Tension…extra boost for Tension on a solid improvement since Sunday’s show. Hoping Tension doesn’t freefall and stays top 100 for a few weeks. Extension will just have a one week stay in the top 100 sadly.

Hope Santa Baby makes it but expect it will be comfortably top 100 the next two weeks after this.

On Amazon both CD have increased from 500 to 1000 plus sold through the week. Deluxe makes a nice gift at around £15 and agree the standard could be reduced now..Take That’s standard reduced £7.99 and is the best selling item. Though the rest seem full priced so maybe it’s not worth it.

Extension charting separately is absolutely not needed. Must have added minimal sales. Though Tension climbing so much is great to see.

Yes it’s ITV prime time…it’s deliberately safe and simple. Same with many of their dramas etc. I thought despite all that it was a great show, some funny moments, energy. I know what you mean regarding ISBSL, however it gave Kylie an opportunity to sing without any backing track and singers…otherwise she would have sung Say Something but then we wouldn’t have had the lovely Pete Waterman moment.
