Love Train is needed to break up the 80s nostalgia type vibe tracks….I enjoy them but Love Train and 10/10 help mix up the latter part of the album.

What did they say re the store digital? Just this week to ‘download’ or something? Odd choice as surely they’ll want to release those tracks as part of a wider release or something and especially add to streaming considering it’s now top 16 tracks included not 12…well for UK albums it is, who knows what other territories do! PP of ACR….please make it happen. We need it back in the top 40.

GN will help sell a few more this week….the chart drop shouldn’t be bad because the sales below her are low, obviously Ed or whoever is released today but after that it’s who streams most.

Yep it’s easy to want more sales and not appreciate how hard it is to sell these numbers, no matter the variants…loads of artists do this now and most don’t come anywhere near these numbers except big current artists or bands like the Arctic Monkeys.

Hoping for 10k plus.

Yep it’s all week one physical sales for positions then who has the best streaming for longevity.

Ok so it’s added another 3k on yesterday. Fingers crossed at least 3k added for today’s sales inc any lagging streaming and general sales. Surely all of the pre sales and extra incentive sales have despatched/ been reported now. Thank you for sharing Cremey…though it irks that the gig wasn’t pushed more towards hardcore fans (not aiming anything at you btw). Not sure what the purpose of the gig is really….back in 2000 I won tickets to Madonna’s Brixton gig by answering loads of true fan questions via a Radio 1 competition. Of course it’s easier to cheat these days as the internet is far more advanced, but they could have done something like that and built the hype far more. Madonna’s gig was massively reported and really helped to promote her album. Why Kylie just sings 4 songs of Tension baffles me. Though I guess if the attendees all go away and stream/ share there’s a bit of an uplift in the future to her catalogue.

Oh btw was just looking at the uk album chart rules and it’s 16 tracks now counted for album streaming, not 12 as previous, Maybe a year or so since it changed? Sure some know this already just thought I’d share. One question, I’m assuming there’s no difference in counting premium/ free streams for the albums chart, they’re all just added together for the 1000 ratio? I also looked again for Greatest Hits rules but can’t find them, haven’t a clue how they work those out and regardless it’s all double counting nonsense. They really should have a separate chart for Greatest Hits.

The vast majority of artists would never achieve this volume of physical sales…Taylor aside, surely the next best vinyl sales in a week by a female artist in recent years is possible? Adele opened with 16,700, surely she’s the current second best. Taylor sold over 60k in a week with midnights…wow.

Yesterday midweek figures…looks as though the store download helped the most as 1100 plus extra downloads alone and the pop vinyls maybe all added now? Monday Midweeks 1 (NEW) Tension Sales: 40,301 Yesterday: 4,601 CD: 16,564 Digital: 2,849 Streaming: 1,675 LP: 15,365

Signed standard cd now sold out just the black vinyl with signed print left.

I think with 4 more days she can add enough for 60k…..even without the signed item release just now. The 4.99 download, double cassette could add 3k alone, there’s probably 3k of streaming to add, other 14k is feasible now for sure. Top 50 for tension, just outside 75 for HOTN, top 30 return for PP with a reset. If not, top 60.

Think it’ll be signed covers for the deluxe and standard.

Signed black vinyl (ok signed print) and signed deluxe well and truly snatched! I already have the signed standard though that had a signed card, this one just says signed. Must say she spoiled us with Disco and the signed Blue Vinyl with signed art card. Anyway this MORE than makes up for the additional postage costs! I’m going to pass on the cassettes this time, unless they’re reduced or signed.

The streaming numbers once again demonstrate how hard it is to achieve significant numbers on Spotify…unless you’re Taylor Swift etc…it’s so competitive…yes more people stream, there’s more users, but there’s also constant new music being added. It’s not a given numbers will just go up album to album similar to the market. Let’s hope long term her streaming stays decent and all the Tension tracks achieve good numbers with the biggest tracks really standing out, obviously we already see that with Padam.

They should have released a super deluxe vinyl with all the SBIT tracks except the mixes on CD3. Otherwise the double vinyl is good….but the 3CD is better in this case. One CD could work but it’ll still need a double vinyl ha ha

Had golden circle or whatever it was called for her show in Birmingham….it was brilliant, she was so close and was in top form.
