Don’t forget Padam’s first day of digital sales were on a Thursday hun….however, it’s so good Tension is picking up solid streams that we thought would be much harder to achieve, despite the Padamic.

Slightly higher than PP started with though of course that had the first day downloads missing…be good if we had a breakdown.

78, 887 UK Spotify yesterday, drops to 93. Crucially it was on 61k the previous Sunday, so 30% improvement.

The effects towards the end look much better on my iPad than they did on my TV, first watch. It’s so good.

Really appreciate the data breakdowns Jay. Interesting that Padam is now roughly back to where it was week 12. Which also demonstrates how well it’s done as week 12 is only its 11th best week. Praying that the week 12 trend continues and that this is at least matched across the other streaming platforms….25% increase is definitely possible for Padam to be reset. Both can be well inside the top 40.

The fact Tension remains top 200 on UK Spotify, despite the Sunday effect, is very positive. Let’s hope it’s added to some general playlists, Hot Hits is the obvious one. Very smart of them to give Apple Music the exclusive though…the chart numbers there are much better.

Is a song automatically reset the week it improves, rather than the following week? If so, who knows, both could be top 40/50….eeeeeek.

It’s had a 30% rise on UK Spotify compared to last Friday so fingers crossed it continues to benefit through the week.

Guess it’s on loads more playlists not just NMF….plus the rise in its numbers is mostly due to people playing it after Tension, if they just play straight off her page, rather than a playlist. Expect Tension will drop off over the weekend whilst PP falls back less. Hopefully the success of PP will help Tension achieve better playlist placing sooner than PP did as that caught everyone by surprise.

Opens at 76 on UK SPOTIFY with 98.5k streams….PP debuted at 104 on 92.1k. The Padam effect has created another variant ha ha! Oh and Padam has risen 31 spots to 69. Over 100k streams. It’s best number since 4th August.

PP definitely going to climb this week, fingers crossed for a big bump for Friday’s numbers.

Is the daily cutoff on Spotify British time? Or are the daily numbers added up for each region/ time zone? Regardless, it was released 5pm UK so whilst Padam opened on over 400k I believe, it also went live at 8am.

It’s almost hit 300k…that slow start was strange, guess there was a glitch. Audio over 125k too.

300k….the official audio is almost on 100k, though just like Padam Padam (audio now over 3miilion), it’s not featured on her YT page anywhere.

Padam for sure but love Tension too. Padam is just super special and super Kylie. The writers knitted together many elements from her previous hits to create a magic track.

Looking forward to the premiere….I’ve not listened to the leaks though for some reason I think I heard a bit of Tension and HOTN. Must have been someone sharing the snippet TikTok thing back in May…it’s been a PP whirlwind since then. Please be better than 10 out of 10…that is a very basic song. Re potential single edit, did we get the Magic single version first before the album?
