  1. Best Slow, worst, Starstruck.
  2. Enjoy her live albums, like all of them. Chose Showgirl as least favourite purely because vocally it wasn’t her best (sadly her health was suffering) and I choose KMO as the best….vocally she was very strong and the arrangements were excellent.
  3. Fingers crossed for a 18k week and then just a slow fall in streaming sales regardless of the chart position. Hopefully it’ll receive a nice boost in September to send it to Gold during October.
  4. Hopefully a small climb alongside avoiding ACR.
  5. So good it’s managed top spot on the airplay chart too, despite less plays I assume from Radio 2!
  6. Apparently number 1 on the UK Airplay chart, though the site keeps glitching for me so I’m not 100% sure.
  7. It was briefly number one a few weeks ago but I really hope this time it can hold on.
  8. Padam…All The Lovers was a success but not a surprise as she was still played on Radio 1 etc. Padam has had to overcome way more barriers to crossover.
  9. Better the Devil Confide in Me Can’t Get You Out of my Head Slow Padam Padam
  10. The decent downloads, if they hold up even half of what they are doing for a month or so, will also help soften the blow of ACR when it happens.
  11. I was tempted when it all kicked off in April/ May and heard a snippet of Hands and Tension amongst others…but stopped myself from listening to anything else. It just felt too weird so far in advance of the release date. She’ll be getting my streams and sales in September haha.
  12. Yes and also she really missed out on the 1996-1999 much higher CD sale era. Sales really started dropping from 2000, due to illegal downloading. The hardcore fan base who stayed with her through the decon years, plus the older PWL fans and new fans, together gave enough of a frontloaded week one to trouble the top places. Early 00s there was always an oversupply too so after a couple of months there were loads of CD bargain bin sales to be had, hence the lengthy top 200 runs of many pop acts. If I recall correctly, IBIY was released after Ultimate Kyle (making it a bit less frontloaded) so the promo for it could be during December and help the album sell. It also crossed over the weird Christmas period when nothing was released so it stayed top 5 as there were no new frontloaded singles to push it out. It was close to being number one really, there was a Band Aid reissue that stopped it.
  13. Oooh hopefully they’ll provide more data in their chart report.
  14. Les Sex….love it. Such a good track.
  15. Wonder how many CD and cassette were made total….think cassette mostly UK though plenty around the world seemed to have bagged a copy. CD maybe 5000? As you say Jay, there’s a limited demand for physicals of singles, despite the padamic.
  16. The big PWL hits are really catching on now. So annoying they were left off streaming for so long. After loathing Loco for a long time I quite like it again now.
  17. Just hope the streaming holds up all year and PP achieves at least a Gold cert. Thank you Jay, it’s been great tracking a bona fide Kylie streaming hit, helps understanding of the current chart system.
  18. Yes ,plus the initial capital ball and then the subsequent publicity and ITV screening.
  19. Agreed…I’m preparing for release week mania and being close to the action at all times in case of surprise signed items….though maybe if it’s an obvious done deal it won’t be as frantic. One can hope.
  20. I stream it all the time but only listen to it when I run or gym….which is daily but it’s kept my interest….but the PP tracking is a long haul effort for us all ha ha.
  21. 7 in Ireland….top marks to Eire!
  22. Still achieving similar streams to week 4 and 6! Can’t be far away from top ten.
  23. It showed she could still attract sales with a catchy song…it’s actually a cute vocal and she looked gorgeous in the video. Though, yes, shocked it went in at 5, matching BTDYK. I bought it on 7 inch single which I hope is still somewhere in my mother’s loft!
