Brilliant. Guess we’ll know more tomorrow about it’s chances once we see the sales breakdown…just hope the cassettes are definitely not registered and hoping it’s shows streaming substantially up.

My friend is there and just live-streamed her via WhatsApp singing PP and Head….I was in the middle of ironing almost burned my hand hahaha. Massive crowd.

This is excellent progress…streaming success is generally a long game but there was always the risk it was going to drop off some point…the longer it keeps rising the better the chart longevity will be and chances of exceeding 100 million Spotify streams some point this year. Wow.

Great numbers for the first Friday of the new week!!!! Love how her streaming keeps improving, fingers crossed the other sites mirror the improvement. Oh, I can't remember what happened now but did it make the Spotify chart after the first day (Thursday) 18th May or did it only show up with the 19th May Friday streams? edit - just checked back to page 1 and don't think it did.

Oh read a post somewhere stating there’s a 3 format rule for the UK single Charts….surely that rule is long gone considering physical sales are so small generally these days?

Those CD sales last week hardly increased so do we think that was an accurate sale or they held some back? If they held them back then seems extremely daft considering how close to top ten though guess they expected the two Dave tracks to overtake. Looks as though his streams dropped back a bit and the Thursday stream guesswork went against him.

Not sure what the point of this release is, just trash.

12 is great and weirdly it looks either they reported CD sales before they despatched them or they held some sales back. The CD total hasn't really increased on the midweek updates.

Good new re the US chart….that’s also positive signs for long term big streaming numbers….would love it to pass 100 million on spotify in the not too distant. Oh, she’s officially 3 on the UK Airplay Chart, down 1. Was at 1 during the week but overtaken from Wednesday. The Airplay data will be interesting to see when it’s released later, sure it’s still achieving high audience and plays…doing so well.

CD sales and improved streaming for Australia I guess? Fingers crossed it keeps rising.

I still think it will climb, unless of course they last minute reported 5000 CD sales. Think her streaming will continue to improve and the extended mix will keep download sales up as well as boost streaming.

Hopefully they held back 5000 CD sales ;-)

Hopefully they know it’s lost this week and save some CD despatch to next week. They’ll know tomorrow to correctly assess the Dave effect.

Dave…8332. Sorry to be a downer! Otherwise, 3000 plus yesterday, great day’s numbers, especially with minimal physical sales added.

Dave already on over 8k….that’s basically a day’s streams as much of Tuesday’s data will be missing. Not many CDs for Kylie yesterday but unless 4K are missing it’s gonna be tough. Loreen had a big day yesterday….guess her streams really increased post BGT etc.

The BTS of PP already over 100k..seems good considering Magic and Kiss of Life are below 100k and Say Something just over. Weirdly can’t recall if the other two GLE videos had a BTS…ASTM would have been good to watch.

Great breakdown Jay….there are so many variations with streaming data each day but your summary accounts for it. I’m just thankful she has the base streams to put her in contention….despite being so supported on Apple and bobbling around the top 50 on Spotify it just demonstrates how hard it is for a track to chart high in the streaming era.

Hope so too, his streams are gigantic. Must have huge numbers of fans who listen on repeat.

Top ten looks very unlikely this week unless they have an ace card to play….Dave will overtake with at least one more track I reckon….plus others around her are stronger streamers….though of course there could be 2000 unsent U.K. CD orders. The success so far has already been great.
