Liked it at the time but rank it bottom of her PWL single releases. Production is very pedestrian/ clunky though still better than that given to most of the other PWL artists.

Compared to some of the monstrosities on the Christmas playlists, Kylie’s SCICTT is a masterpiece. Interesting lists. Shame to see drops across so many tracks vs 2023 despite the new music driving her overall streaming upwards.

Big drop off for Santa Baby but at least it’s still progressing at a fair rate. Never knew there was a top 250. Kylie Christmas having a quiet year but still better than many of her previous albums manage over the year.

Loved that episode it was like a whole series in one go. The finish perfectly completes the story and thankfully no deaths!!! Going to enjoy watching it a couple more times. Especially loved Dave Coaches return.

Eartha Kitt is top 80 in the Monday update, Kylie not that far behind on UK Spotify and Apple. Hopefully that means Kylie very close to top 100 already with three big days yet to be factored in. Plenty of non Christmas songs to overtake.

Hopefully it’ll make it by Friday. It’s a song that outperforms itself Xmas Eve and Day and those days receive huge numbers.

Good to see Kylie (111) has overtaken (112) on the Spotify chart, both with 116k plays on Thursday. Fingers crossed Kylie continues to build. Noticed the latest Now Christmas playlist/ compilation has reinstated Kylie. Think she’d been left off last years. Anyway I’m guessing that plus the other decent playlists are driving Kylie upwards. Eartha in the 80s. Kylie may overtake her too by Christmas though expect that major Christmas playlist will be the main source of streams worldwide.

Plus all the ‘official’ versions give the first lines to men. The first version was so male dominant. Band Aid 2 has a much better vocal mix that they could have used. Anyway the latest version hasn’t done very well. Weird how Band Aid 2 was included on the OFFICIAL 2014 CD release.

Yes Spotify are giving Laufey the support alongside Eartha. Kylie version still on plenty of those 100 Christmas Compilations and other decent playlists. Quite annoying how they just ditch Kylie for Laufey. Think we’d all be fine with that if they added CICTYGH instead. Imagine if they did that to all of Bubles versions of other people’s songs!

Think that was two weeks ago so it’s on 43-44k after last weeks chart.

At least she has three others picking up decent numbers but it’s so strange how EDLC, CICTYGH and White December aren’t performing much better. Funny how Oh Santa (her original take on Santa Baby) has had some limited success the last two or three years.

Aus Open tennis using it to promote the 2025 tournament is useful. Quite frankly it’s a fairly frivolous and straightforward ‘banger’ that can be used very obviously and effectively to promote events or on socials.

After Kylie’s Spotify Kworb stats for Thursday went haywire yesterday, Friday’s numbers have now updated correctly. T2 now included and all of the collabs and remixes that disappeared a couple of months or so ago (e.g the Light Years version of Kids) have returned. Her 500th track is now 181k (was 130k or so). Annoying T2 took so long to show up, the numbers have declined quickly outside of the collabs. Definitely needs some promo before the tour. Fingers crossed Someone for Me is pushed after Christmas.

Let’s hope the Tension tour will boost the streams of some of the album tracks as well as the obvious top 2. Be interesting to look back in a years time and see what effect the tour gave.

If the usual weekly sale is 200-300 then it should be sometime in January.
