Annoyingly the official video for Locomotion is over 24 million views but it’s assigned to PWL Channel. EFY weirdly is on Kylie’s channel with 25 million and there’s a separate HD one on PWL with over 14 million. Her YT is all over the place, guess it’s because she’s been slaying across so many eras. Queen Slaylie. Not sure why the PP audio is hard to find too, it’s on her channel somewhere but not listed on her page or summary list via Kworb. Where did Timebomb enter in Australia? Entering the top 40 in Australia in the streaming era is great news.

Hot Hits UK…brilliant! 34 on the official U.K. Airplay chart…was 24 on the rolling chart yesterday but that included the first high profile Thursday plays that came with big listener numbers.

Guess we’ll just have to wait and see now ha ha…..even if she misses the top 30 because of the weird calculation or just because it’s been out streamed genuinely it’s still been a bloody fantastic week.

Wouldn’t it be another 3000 from streaming if she’s on just under 7500 with 5 days streaming included? That’s 1500 a day average? Or is it that some of the sixth day figures are included in the latest midweek?

Over 10k for the week already which aside from SB hasn’t happened in a while! Just shows how difficult holding a position is throughout the week because of streaming…it’s bringing in solid download numbers and picking up on streaming but it’s going to be very close….with lower downloads next week it’s going to have to do much better on Spotify especially but the signs are it’s building nicely. 24 on the rolling airplay chart is great too, that has loads of potential.

Think we’re in this for the long haul….yippee. Quick question, looked on the OCC website but can’t see it, are Shazam streams included? I don’t use Shazam but is it more it helps drive streams rather than creates them?

Just played it a few times from Just Hits ha ha If Wednesday is on a similar level to Tuesday re streams then for once she’s going to benefit from the Thursday averaging!!!!

I think we always hoped Kylie could have another breakthrough hit and it’s just brilliant PP is breaking through the barriers on radio and streaming. When I first heard it I loved it and it absolutely deserves to be a success for her and her team. What’s also fantastic is it’s given a shot in the arm to much of her streaming and YouTube catalogue…so Disco GLE m, Infinite Disco and SBIT are really going to benefit.

Thank you….yes unless she adds another 5000 alone (very unlikely) from iTunes between Tues to Thurs with the price reduction then the streaming for yesterday and today would need to massively increase I guess to make up for Fri-Mon numbers. Streaming should stabilise and build if Airplay across the board improves and she’s added to more playlists….this could be like Wow…that grew for weeks through downloads before it peaked at 5 following the CD release. Think we’d all love PP to have a proper chart run in the streaming era, through streams!

I bought the higher one yesterday but same as you, will buy the other after today’s flash. I’m hopeful of a rise today, maybe 25 or better…..perhaps fantasy but is top 20 very unlikely without much bigger streams?

I said on the main charts page it’s especially impressive how the PWLtracks have done considering they weren’t permanently added to streaming until late 2016. Some had a year or two when TBOKM as released 2012 but none had massive numbers, on Spotify at least.

Not in the City more like ha ha. Interesting seeing this UK only list across all the platforms. Explains why Dancing went silver. PWL tracks wee only properly added end of 2016 (some had a brief time on streaming when The Best of KM was released in 2012) too so they’re making great gains. BTDYK is nowhere near as popular over on Spotify so it’s great to see it top ten.

Weird she had a massive lead last night on iTunes.

I’m just so happy she’s having some deserved success on the singles chart after such a lean period. Yes there’s been some success like Dancing and Santa Baby but this feels different. Just hope it goes on to have a chart run and rack up much higher streams.

What’s positive is that those within the industry will know how much harder it is for Kylie to even make the top 100 so if the 59p reduction helps her achieve top 40 it’ll be worth it…because they all know it’s because she’s actually managed to make a much bigger dent with streaming. Future radio play and positioning on playlists will definitely be better if PP goes top 40 this week.

The fact that PP is doing relatively better on streaming gives it a better chance of falling less from the Monday midweek. Fingers crossed.
