  1. I reckon so. She doesn’t seem to be in control and driving the creativity like she used to. It’ll be a ‘lite’ sequel I expect. We can hear already the rapid vocal decline being masked by effects. I hope I’m wrong.
  2. Problem is that it’s a nothing song. It’s not a patch on her massive lead singles up to 2009 and at least with MDNA onwards the songs and vocals were distinctively Madonna. Thankfully IFSF is a much better reminder of her abilities.
  3. On Spotify they still have Kylie Christmas fully wrapped as the ‘latest release’…they do have the option to amend that but here we are in May and it’s still there hahahaha. At least she’s updated her Best Of playlist and it’s highlighted on her homepage. Really hope for substantial increases across her catalogue once the Netflix doc airs.
  4. It’s being used in a South American targeted ad for Chevrolet …think that only launched very recently so it must be Verity and Netflix driving the Shazam and streams …over 700k on Thursday.
  5. I know physical copies are mostly bought by fans and collectors but it was a strange decision to omit the promoted single from the majority of the variants. Personally think they should have just released XMAS last year and then this season release Fully Wrapped(milked) with XMAS included on all variants.
  6. That’s crazy! I already have the green vinyl and the personal signed one. I notice the full range is back available on the Kylie store too. That’s all full price ha ha.
  7. aeroco posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Mel C’s debut was not a success until Never Be The Same Again was released months later… that did really well and then she followed up with the banger that is I Turn To You, both turned a low selling album into major success. Also gave her credibility as a solo artist, during the summer of 2000 she was played on TV and radio loads…beforehand the media were not complimentary towards her when she started off with Goin’ Down.
  8. I can’t see this song having any longevity. It’s a generic production and composition and Madonna’s voice doesn’t jump out. It’d be great to see her smashing again but this isn’t it. I’m hoping the album is more in the style of IFSF as it’s much better to listen to. Though she does sound like Anthony Perkins ‘Mother’ from the Psycho film when she speaks these days 🤭
  9. Trailer coming tomorrow…funny that they’re ‘trailing’ the trailer though!
  10. So based on the initial Spotify numbers and that many songs are on ACR, is a top 20 debut still likely? Downloads seem relatively strong. Think top 5 was a little ambitious now ha ha.
  11. 4 Minutes stands the test of time but is very derivative of previous Timbaland tracks. That said after so many years it sounds really good. The rest are at best ok in isolation but are vastly inferior to all her big tracks, with Medellin the worst. This latest Sabrina collab sounds like a generic house track that plays in the background of a French and Saunders runway sketch.
  12. Top 5! Think it’ll peak week one though.
  13. Dance to the Music but expect MOM to be eliminated first!
  14. It’s ok, plods along nicely. Maybe it will grow on me more but the Sabrina collaboration will ensure it charts very well initially and who knows become a big hit.
  15. X and Aphrodite will complete my vinyl…well except Abbey Road but I don’t expect that to be reissued.
  16. Her entire catalogue is really going to benefit over the coming months!
  17. She deserves much higher numbers but many of her tracks have really picked up. The new era should help drive growth.
  18. As a lifelong fan it’s been a bit disheartening seeing her star power and physicality decline so much (from a super high level, 2012 MDNA tour she was incredible) the last decade but Madonna seems reinvigorated here. Bring on Confessions II. The Queen is back.
  19. Great to see her moving so much better. I’m rushing out so will watch it again later.
  20. Yes it’s good but not lead single…it sounds so much like Future Lovers and a bit like I’m Addicted from MDNA. Links the Confessions albums nicely!
  21. A top drawer remix.
  22. In Your Eyes or In My Arms. I’m aware IYE does ok already but I want it to be much bigger.
  23. PWL waiting until 2016 to add their full output to streaming platforms has always held back the numbers. Though Never Gonna Give You Up and You Spin Me Right Round more than makes up for it. Nice pension for them off those royalties hahaha. Billions of streams. It’s a shame ISBSL, EFY and BTDYK aren’t on influential playlists.
  24. The list is for global Spotify streams.
