^^ The OCC seem to hate variants/physicals and would much rather present a picture of a healthy market. The only time I’ve ever really known them to highlight it is when The Lottery Winners went to #1 and they called out the variants.
  2. Plays into my theory that artists get shunned by streaming companies when they team up with one!
  3. 4th joint favourite for Christmas #1 - the odds keep shortening, 20/1 to 10/1 now 15/2 Wham! 10/11 Ed Sheeran 11/2 Taylor Swift 6/1 Alison Limerick 15/2 Kylie Minogue 15/2

That probably contributed to 3 sales and the newly released liquid vinyl for the rest. Surely the OCC should/would know of a new variant counting towards the charts 🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. This to be honest - once the results start coming in and Kylie starts climbing the fanbase will rally around with downloads, physicals etc.,
  6. Poised to explode Amazon Music Playlists Christmas Present #1 Brand New Music #1 Christmas Party #1 Merry Mix #1 Amazon Originals #1 2025! #2 (Re)Discover Kylie #2 Fresh Pop #3 Feel Good Christmas #3
  7. Strictly impact #19 Sam Fender - Remember My Name ❤️
  8. Nice - following the same trajectory of previous Christmas exclusives, starting low with decent daily jumps as the build up and Alexa play starts to ramp up.
  9. Chalkys still have signed photos available from the Disco era and have made them available with the KC vinyl - https://chalkys.com/products/kylie-minogue-kylie-christmas-fully-wrapped-red-vinyl?_pos=3&_sid=19be3cb46&_ss=r

6th separate entry into the Top 10 for Rein Me In if it holds on.
  11. Think they will play the game and drop the downloads on the 12th along with the physicals and a lyric video or low budget video.
  12. The mids will be wild though - the Amazon exclusives will appear high in the first update as Amazon get their data in early/on time compared to the other streaming services.
  13. ^^ Exactly this, if there’s even a sniff of her challenging for a #1, Top 3 etc., then people will get behind it especially with the ease of Amazon physicals too and removing the need for £5+ Townsend postage.
  14. 19 26 Sam Fender, Olivia Dean – Rein Me In (with Olivia Dean) 185,679 The staying power of this is pretty amazing (and without heavy Spotify playlist support), 20 weeks so far moving between the positions of 6 to 17 on the official charts too.
  15. Ah pleased this has got some love
  16. Unless the album is a gigantic flop and her core fanbase has evaporated then I can’t see Kylie Christmas being anything other than a Top 3 album at worst. 17. They’ll be price matching someone so adjust their prices.
  18. Asked Alexa for Christmas music on 3 separate occasions - twice it played XMAS first and the other time it played Gwen Stefani and then Kylie 🎉
  19. We’ll see big spikes over the coming days as autoplay Alexa kicks in 🎉
  20. I always say this! I really disliked the BL era after the euphoria of Fever - I bought everything and supported but it was a total meh era for me, now I absolutely love Slow and the subsequent singles.
  21. The prices are pretty standard for now to be honest - I’m not convinced them being cheaper would result in significant more sales. Singles are essentially a defunct format made for fans and collectors - if somebody doesn’t want a 2 track 7” vinyl for £12.99 I’m not sure it being £9.99 would change their mind too much.
  22. No Amazon exclusives yet have gone 11-out so even if it’s not as huge as I’m hoping I’m certain it’ll chart for multiple weeks and go Top 10. The main UK song that Amazon pushes each year have performed well - Ellie #1, Sam Ryder #2, Tom Grennan #3, Jess Glynne #3 etc.,
  23. I’m manifesting both will be #1 however ill equally be estatic if Xmas goes Top 10! I think the album has a strong chance surely - Kylie’s album sales have been consistent since her BMG ‘comeback’, we have 9 variations plus you can pick up the vinyl for around £21/22 which should help. Even though it’s a greatest hits Christmas mash up album I can’t see it doing less than 25k (although I think we’ll see 30k+) - she’s has one of the strongest fanbases that collect every variant and I have a feeling they’ll be more to come (they seem to do a drop of cassettes release week).
