Agree, none were showing a real challenge before RMI ACR so they’ve benefitted from being in the right place/right time (although I would absolutely love Ella to snatch a #1). The lack of real big hits taking off this year is a worrying trend.

All CDs are still available on Madonna’s EU store - guessing now that the UK is done that they’ve redirected copies to Europe where it is just about to be released.

RMI will be re-set in the next week or two and take over from Ella 🤣

Imagine if they had the CDs and Vinyl ready to go and both fanbases thought there would be a chance I think everyone would’ve got behind it. I dread to think what the chart run would have looked like though

Downloaded Ella from her store and iTunes - was rooting for Dolly this week but as she’s not in the running let’s go Ella 🙌🏻 (Or anything tbh other than ‘Great Expectation’).

He came 3rd in 2017. Actually amazing that for how long the show has been going the lack of chart success they have produced from their contestants.

I guess that’s the same for a lot of artists though - their biggest 1 or 2 hits boosting their overall performance.

Honestly this - hopefully the vinyl gives it another chart week but if it doesn't then it’s really no big deal.

Bananarama have dropped 2 more downloads for the album - a rarities versions on iTunes for £4.99, and a remastered video version via their website for £5.99 - love that the label are really going for it.

I don’t understand why nobody is really gunning for the #1. After almost 6 months of RMI at the top I would’ve thought that labels would’ve been pulling out the stops to get their artists to the top. A #1 for Sienna, Ella, Stella etc., would be big at this stage of their careers and with sales so close I thought we might see some activity (alternative versions, lyric video, social media push - anything!).

Rouge Traders are also reposting the Dannii images - either a duet/collab is coming or it’s for work on Club Disco.

C’mon Dolly - was really hoping a GH would be challenging for a #1. Hopefully Bananarama are safe for the Top 20 - they still have the signed individual covers available and dropped the standard CD to £6.99.

Over the moon for Bananarama. London Records have done an amazing job with the anniversary re-issue and so many great priced options and signed variants so was hoping it would do well.

Yes very much a gay classic and I hear it (and the Steps version) quite often too, but it doesn’t seem to have broken out of that and is remembered by the masses as a great song from back then.
