^^ I think Decon and Kylie dumped the project pretty quickly - I think internal expectations were sky high for CIM and subsequent album success, I’m sure it was thought at the time both would be guaranteed #1s. Decon didn’t really know what to do with her/how to market her post PYIMP.

I know a lot of people don’t like but it’s a favourite of mine, I think whatever they chose as single 3 would’ve struggled as Kylie had moved on from the project and was filming - I guess Decon threw it out as an attempt to get a few extra sales for what I’m sure was an underwhelming for them sales total for KM94.

Absolute career highlight for me - they really chose the singles well from an overall (IMO) weak album. I was sure this was going to be HUGE but looking back maybe it was a misstep as they positioned Kylie as alternative dance with CIM and then went with a sublime poppy PWL-esque PYIMP as the follow up.

7” vinyl coming on 28th December so they are aiming for the post Christmas bounce back :cheer:

The most baffling part for me is that BMG are fine with this - they must sit on a TON of unsold stock for all their artists as they have such a strong resistance to reductions. The album has done what it’s done chart wise and served it’s purpose but from their POV surely they would want to clear out essentially dead stock while the album is still fresh unless they are hoping another radio single will help!

Someone contacted Nathan from one of the Dannii fan groups - hopefully the albums will be back on streaming soon!

Decent sales for the vinyl - hopefully the 3/4k they are shifting in total for the physicals is enough for them to warrant continuing to issue them.

:drama: I hope we don’t get a trilogy (as much as I’ve enjoyed Tension 1 & 2) - hopefully they just bundle the albums together and add some bonus tracks.

Vinyl doing its work but shows how much of a misstep it is to split the physicals - surely they have enough notice to get the lead single ready in advance. Glad it’s sold relatively well though!

Ah I thought that would be the case - Spotify seem to remove immediately when there is an issue and Apple is usually 24-48 Hours behind.

I did actually think I could see this happening! Even if they just bundle them together for streaming purposes.
