  1. Me her at the Silver Clef awards when she was in London a few weeks ago, genuinely lovely - made time to have pictures, chat and sign with everyone when she easily could have walked straight in!
  2. I hope if we get physicals for ‘Fever’ that they do something different/special - we’ve already had the black, silver and red vinyl and cassettes in recent years.
  3. That’s probably not even 20 plays at those positions.
  4. Oh I love this update! Much cleaner to see the actual charts if they are combined rather than having versions at 1, 72, 200 etc
  5. It’s incredible that Aphrodite only sold 882 copies on release week on vinyl! I remember not even wanting it on vinyl and just bought it for the collection (and have been glad I did ever since!).
  6. RMI seems to be down around 10-15k daily, priming itself for an increase next week
  7. All of this - they were originally listed as being in plastic cases and a more of a ‘proper’ CD release then relegated to card sleeves and CD-R. I’m over the moon that they rushed them out otherwise we’d be looking at a 45-out this week rather than 8-out, I’m just glad for the quality that they priced them accordingly.

The Scipt have added a deluxe download to their website for £5.99 plus bundles with either ‘Man Who Cant Be Moved’ or ‘Breakeven’ signed lyric sheets - hopefully enough to keep them at #2.
  9. You’ll be pleased to hear it’s reached a new peak of #50 in the US this week and is hurtling towards Platinum (1 million sales).

They done variants for ‘Gloria’ - CD CD (HMV Exclusive) Signed CD (Independent Stores) Black Vinyl Gold Vinyl Clear Vinyl (Bonus Tracks) Gold Cassette Black Cassette
  11. 15k globally is dreadful. Hopefully they’ve done 3-5k of the vinyl, on a SH post yesterday some fans didn’t even realise there was a vinyl which doesn’t bode well if even fans don’t realise!
  12. This - without the CDs last week it would’ve entered at around #45, if the CDs landed another week the 11k would have got it in the lower Top 40, and I can’t see them shifting anymore than 5-7k of vinyl so definitely the best decision for CDs along with downloads and week 1 streams!

    ACR
  14. Even if they do release another download I just can’t see the masses getting behind it - it was different with Padam when we were fighting for a new peak each week. What would a download achieve? An 8-74 drop rather than 8-out.

Was hoping The Script would be secure for #2 - looks like they will be overtaken. If they are it’ll be there first album not to chart Top 2.
  16. ☠️☠️ I knew it would take a hard fall but was expecting better than #95 today
  17. Yes I guess ‘These Alarms’ proved that BMG are not interested in singles - another Thursday release and the vinyl weeks later.
  18. Almost forgot about this - the vinyl is released on Friday. Could get an appearance in the mids (very much not expecting it to make the final chart though).

Bonnie Tyler’s service was live streams via her website and a beautiful send off - lots of her music played so might have an impact.
  20. They really didn’t learn from Padam and Tension - surely it’s more beneficial for the label and artist to clock up another Top 40 hit rather than 56-out-54-out. Hopefully the success of XMAS and Love Sendation might make them rethink the next era!
  21. Nothing like album re-issues, a collab and some physicals to get the Kylie fans talking 🤣🤣
  22. Would love this but even the hype/news of them making the Top 10 didn’t even seem to give it a streaming or iTunes boost.
  23. It’s been saying that the whole time - even last week as they were shipping them.

Yes it’s no surprise, they don’t have 11k of CDs and the mass downloading to hold them up this week, and streams are minimal.
