    Somebody needs to let Cher, Dolly Parton, Katy Perry, Mariah, Barbra Streisand etc., know how easy these #1 albums for veteran artists are to come by as they all seem to be missing out.

    ^^ That would have been my preference too, however I guess a re-packaged year old album re-entering at #16 doesn’t quite have the same ring to it for headlines as ‘10th UK #1’ does. The project and #1 that they chased seems to have been a tour selling tool (totally understandable).

    It only matters to chart followers - from that respect I would want to see it have a decent chart run, but you are right to the GP and statistics another #1 has been bagged, the same as half the country believe PP was a #1 smash based on ‘The Big Top 40’.

    It’s a shame they rushed to get all the CDs with signed prints rushed out to include in Fridays chart, they were not going to be caught so could have easily pushed those sales into week 2 (4 copies from me alone).
