  1. Streaming KMO today to try and get it an extra sale
  2. Haven’t you been commenting for weeks that you want Last Christmas to break Rein Me In’s record, now you want Last Christmas removed from the chart?
  3. The chart runs would be 1-57-22-98-71-11-out ☠️
  4. I think with the amount of downloads sold this week - the few we were holding back probably wouldn’t make much of difference.
  5. Honestly this - RMI hasn’t been doing untouchable/record breaking numbers week in week out the fact there’s nothing to mount a considerable challenge to it after 21 weeks says a lot about the industry, release schedule and big new music pushes.
  6. Would be nice to get a 7” however not convinced we will - Warners didn’t do it for the lead with Sabrina (who probably would have shifted a ton on her name alone) or Denceteria.
  7. Yes at considerable cost - the major record companies and wider industry don’t seem to be making noise about the charts, long running songs etc., so again there seems no need for that to happen. Outside of Buzzjack, UKMix and those same people commenting on the OCC posts it’s a chart fans problem rather than an actual one.
  8. Thats literally never going to happen - imagine the amount of data, time and cost to track millions of users play counts and then subtracting any plays after 1 to submit to the OCC. There is zero benefit for the streaming companies to even attempt to do that.
  9. The CDs count as 3 variants - the way around it is to officially discontinue them if they want to add another format. They’ve restocked the US CD which was sold out on the Madonna site so guessing they are printing a ton.
  10. There’s a lot said about streaming services, the data they supply etc., Streaming services have little concern with the official charts, they have their own charts, providing granular data is time consuming and expensive so there is little motivation for them to do so for a chart that doesn't concern them. Streaming services aim is to increase paying listeners and listener hours not spend half their time breaking down how many streams of o song Kathy from Scunthorpe done.
  11. I was really hoping that KMO would go gold off the back of this release, it’s been such a slog for it to get there.
  12. Still such an amazing tune. It was such a surprise return too and the fact it went Top 5. Such a shame that WEA/Eternal didn’t handle the rest of the era and ‘Girl’ album very well after such a strong start.
  13. I thought the original CD listing for the singles said they would be in plastic covers and then got changed. Someone contacted them and they confirmed that the CDs had changed to card sleeves and the track listing had been updated which indicates to me that they are not ready/not even started production yet so could see them appearing mid to late September rather than at the start.
  14. I think a few more will be sold as the Kylie store has been restocked and I’ve seen people on SH saying they have just ordered etc.,

KMO is one of my favourite Kylie albums - nobody else feels the same way 😭
  16. From SH - “As of last Friday, KMO is currently on 96.4k so just 3.5k to go!”

    Kylie sales (Source SH): 7 (RE) X - sales 3,512 17 (RE) Light Years - Sales 1,817 20 (RE) Aphrodite - Sales 1,765 31 (RE) Kiss Me Once - Sales 1,384
  18. From SH - Kylie Album re-issue (Monday update) 7 (RE) X - sales 3,512 17 (RE) Light Years - Sales 1,817 20 (RE) Aphrodite - Sales 1,765 31 (RE) Kiss Me Once - Sales 1,384
  19. Actually a tad disappointed by the update. With album sales generally quite low and the fact they were available as a bundle I thought they may have started off better. But on the flip side, apart from X nothing new is offered - all 3 are identical to the original releases which I have but got the new versions for collection purposes, can understand why people wouldn’t have though.

X was the only one to get 2 variations (Black and Blue) so knew that would be a front runner. And no surprise to see one of my favourite Kylie albums in last place - it’s generally not well liked by the fanbase
  21. Agree I can see them shifting a lot - if they done 10k that would be around #36 - I just think by that point streams and downloads will have faded away, of course they could throw out some remixes etc., which could add another 1k or so.
  22. Looking forward to seeing where they all land today. I have no idea where they’ll land on today’s update; they seem to have sold well (HMV are sold out of Aphrodite, and on the Kylie store the X blue vinyl has sold out).
  23. Just done my 3 iTunes downloads, I was going to wait but I think this will be peak week. The CDs will return it to the Top 75 but by that point streaming and downloads will be minimal so thought I’d use my 3 to count now.
  24. I’m aware and as has been proven time and time again by ‘legacy’ artists stringing out single releases over several weeks just doesn’t work. Even if they throw out a remix or two next week it won’t be enough to prop it up without streams. We have the lyric video and 3 download versions and now at least a 3 week wait for the physicals. Streaming has already started dropping in week 1 so can’t see support coming en-masse in week 2 from Spotify, Apple etc.,
