As mentioned above I’m not expecting much as Spotify and Apple won’t throw their support behind a former Amazon exclusive (and not that either is particularly kind to regular Kylie releases anyway). Hopefully it’ll appear on some playlists and will get a push from Kylie and her team, I’d be happy for it clock up some extra chart weeks.

And the obsession with Covid and RMI is troubling - the 2nd poster to reference a song to a global pandemic that killed 7 million is tasteless at best.

Let’s hope not as signed CDs haven’t been eligible for the singles charts for about 4 years.

^^ Yes, can’t see it getting much at all (I streamed it a few times the day it appeared). Apart from it being August I’m guessing most people including fans won’t have realised it’s even been added yet.

Not a Madonna fan in the slightest and could have easily done without this BUT the uniting of 2 icons is amazing - the song is ok but they could really push this onto the girls, gays and theys with physicals and remixes and make a hit out of it.

I think it’ll avoid it - it’s had big increases on Spotify and gone to #1 on Apple for the first time, and back in the YouTube Top 3.

I’m guessing his label/team thought it might be his last chance with the Ariana album drop seeing as she went to #1 with her last single - they would be aware of how her team operated to get it too then so probably thought the same would happen this week.

There’s been plenty of interesting (and more coming) - none seem to be taking off in any meaningful way though.

I think it might have another 1-2 weeks max, I’m not even sure of that tbh. Guess it depends how Ari performs this week. It’ll get a boost this week from the media coverage and the fact he performed it for the first time in the US with Olivia yesterday which is all over socials - now that’s done I think it’ll start on a natural decline.

The media only reported on it when they beat Wet Wet Wet and Bryan’s Adams and now that they’ve broken the all time record - it wasn’t a news story on any of the other 16 weeks it’s been #1 and I doubt it will be again if it stays at the top.
