Last week and it must have been minimal as it didn’t appear in the physical, vinyl or sales chart.

It won’t be - the vinyl is not released until the 16th.

There is no way this is only limited to 5k - it’s literally available everywhere 🤣

Grim - I know hype has gone for them but not to manage Top 40 in a low sales climate is a horrible outcome for them for their final album.

That’s quite the deficit for The Blossoms to try and make up as The Beatles will continue selling throughout the week too.

The fight is on. The Beatles have added a competition to their official store to hear the album at Abbey Road. The Blossoms have 2 new intimate album shows on sale tomorrow morning, reduced on iTunes, added personally signed via Banquet Records, added a competition via their official store.

They’ve just announced a vinyl and CD for Madge’s collab with CharliXCX so maybe we’ll get a cassette thrown out for Love Sensation (although I feel there is format fatigue from the Madonna fanbase just at the sheer volume of things being released).

Think they would have pulled in some really good numbers from their hometown pop up shop which was open for 3 days. They had band member signed CDs for £5, they also had store exclusive vinyl and done a signing session there. The pictures of the pre-opening queue each day were large too.

Yes, BMG would have paid licensing fees to Parlophone to include them as part of the release.

It had a messy release - Christmas version in December, then the Disco version in April with a digital EP and the vinyl 2 months later. However, even in Australia with an XF performance it didn’t trouble the charts.

It’s hardly surprising tbh - deluxe bonus tracks charting Top 5 is almost unheard of so would’ve be fanbase driven, the ‘lead’ single from the re-issue appears to have connected with the GP.

No, Parlophone still own it all (some of it is joint ownership with Kylie). They own her PWL and Deconstruction releases though.

I’d love a 7” - I’d be more inclined to think it would happen if BMG were handling the release rather than Parlophone, I think it’s a one and done drop for them.

The remix EP is coming (pre-save if you can - it all helps apparently!)

What an odd reply - I was just wondering from a listener POV if it was a success as essentially it’s a repeat of what Friday will look like, and people that are interested in the chart will likely listen to both.

Has anyone opted for the new 12” vinyl - even though it offers nothing new I’m still exited to get it (although I think if they are planning on releasing the Dom remix they’ve missed a real opportunity not including it on the re-issue single as am sure that would’ve encouraged a lot more sales).

I know it’s new but would love to know if the extended first look has been a success so far - it’s essentially a carbon copy of what the charts will look like on Friday - the mids to the end of week chart offer very little movement atm.

The Amazon Exclusive vinyl featuring XMAS has been reduced to £15.92 - it’s the first time they’ve lowered it this much I think as usually it’s the red vinyl version. Makes me think stock is being cleared ahead of it being made available to all retailers rather than just remaining on Amazon.
