Oft - ‘These Alarms’ is doing 115k globally so this is not doing much better. Glad it’s getting a few streams though and it’s done its job of being a hit.

Likewise - talking about people’s accents and how you can’t understand them is a form of bullying. Look up the term bullying before you start throwing it around and maybe think about what you say “Talking about a dislike of accents can be a form of bullying an discrimination. You’re on a public forum so the people ‘where you come from’ are not on here. You continually make offensive comments - we’ve had covid comments and now talking about people’s accents and how you can’t understand them. You take every thread off track by being continually rude and repeating yourself over and over again, you make the forum a really unenjoyable place to be.

And that’s the great thing about music - people can listen to and talk about exactly what they want, they also can have really strong opinions about the subjects too however it doesn’t change the fact RMI continues to be a record breaking hit heading towards its 22nd week at the top regardless of if people love it or ‘hate’ it.

It’s incredible that Aphrodite only sold 882 copies on release week on vinyl! I remember not even wanting it on vinyl and just bought it for the collection (and have been glad I did ever since!).

RMI seems to be down around 10-15k daily, priming itself for an increase next week

All of this - they were originally listed as being in plastic cases and a more of a ‘proper’ CD release then relegated to card sleeves and CD-R. I’m over the moon that they rushed them out otherwise we’d be looking at a 45-out this week rather than 8-out, I’m just glad for the quality that they priced them accordingly.

The Scipt have added a deluxe download to their website for £5.99 plus bundles with either ‘Man Who Cant Be Moved’ or ‘Breakeven’ signed lyric sheets - hopefully enough to keep them at #2.

You’ll be pleased to hear it’s reached a new peak of #50 in the US this week and is hurtling towards Platinum (1 million sales).

15k globally is dreadful. Hopefully they’ve done 3-5k of the vinyl, on a SH post yesterday some fans didn’t even realise there was a vinyl which doesn’t bode well if even fans don’t realise!

This - without the CDs last week it would’ve entered at around #45, if the CDs landed another week the 11k would have got it in the lower Top 40, and I can’t see them shifting anymore than 5-7k of vinyl so definitely the best decision for CDs along with downloads and week 1 streams!

Even if they do release another download I just can’t see the masses getting behind it - it was different with Padam when we were fighting for a new peak each week. What would a download achieve? An 8-74 drop rather than 8-out.
