Urgh the HELL of this forum when Babydoll gets to #1 - anything other than the pop girls (apart from Taylor it seems) getting to #1 causes mass uproar and doom claims that the charts are over etc etc

Got to hand it to Taylor’s team - they never ever fail and are always on the ball making sure she gets the best chart positions, opening sales etc as possible.

Odd that it’s available everywhere still - surely 5k between both fanbases should be an easy sell out after several weeks from collectors alone.

I hope we get something Friday, usually there are ALWAYS leaks of anything new and I’ve seen nothing at at, I really hope something special has been planned. They need to do more than throw out another colour variation of Fever though.

Amazing Aussie boost for CGYOOMH - even more impressive as Spotify is by far the dominant market leader there (Around 70% of the market).

Will be interesting to see where their collab ends up however I personally can’t see it peaking higher than LS. I’m not convinced physical sales will be as strong, streaming will be higher though - also they are battling against Taylor taking up 3 of the Top 10 positions.

It’s a smash compared to anything she’s released in recent years. It’s actually doing decently considering zero promo, no streaming support, no remixes (yet!) or anything more than a social media push on release day.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a Top 40 however would love to see it much higher. It’s really doing to depend if Apple and Spotify show it any sort of meaningful support.

I’m guessing as the market has matured there are more users listening to a wider variety of music rather than just the chart hits? It just feels like quite a sudden downturn though this year.

I still think it’ll be an easy #1 for Taylor and physicals should keep it at the top for at least a 2nd week - what the hell is happening with streaming/new tracks in 2026, nothing seems to be sticking or getting numbers anywhere near what we used to see at the top consistently.
