Literally my only critique is their storyline got done dirty. Their book is so good. They have a really really great story. I’m glad we got to see them, they’re a vital part of the Hollanov story, but I wish we got to see more of them in the second half of the season

I CANNOT get the end of episode 4 out of my head. I made the mistake of listening to All the things she said and it made it like fifty times worse That club scene was perfect. The song detailing exactly what was going through their minds and the switch in version to match the switch in perspective slayed me I have to watch it again. If I wasn’t in the office today I’d have it on while I worked

Obsessed My social media feed has just been HR since episode one but I had to wait to watch it with the move and finishing the other series we had on the go and visiting family etc so was absolutely desperate to watch it and we devoured it in two nights Absolutely loved the show. While impatiently waiting this last week to finally start the show I read the entire Game Changers book series (and I’ve read like a dozen other books in the same genre since. What can I say, i love love). The show does a good job of bringing the source material to life. I liked that big chunks of dialogue were one to one copied across and the narrative changes that were made were strong and justified (Svetlanas bigger role for example). Skip were defo done dirty tho. The first book is wonderful and I’m not a fan of how their story was handled. I know the show had limited budgets etc but idve liked to have seen their story take place across the correct time frame or at least that we see them in episode 4 and 5 and not just Kip at the cup final. There was too sharp a disconnect for me between the end of episode 3 and the cup final scene in ep 5. literally my only complaint about the entire season I cannot wait for the sequel. I really hope we get to see the other 3 books unfold as well and not just The Long Game. Especially as there’s such a strong timeline overlap between them all
